The site gives players a time as well as a few links regarding the game.

The page reveals a picture of the actual location where the story will take place, but not much as been released on the game, and the only information available is actually on the FAQ page located at Piranha’s fan site. There are the obvious general questions always found on a FAQ, but surprisingly, a few questions are asked that will give the player an idea about the project. From what the FAQ said, a demo for the game is in the works, but no release date has been set. Here are some links to to check more of it out:

Those of you hoping to try out the sequel to the free-to-play online RPG this year, looks like it’s not happening. ArenaNet has updated their FAQ for the game to point out that they will not be having a beta this year as originally planned. Hit the break for their full answer.

Although we publically alpha- and beta-tested the original Guild Wars while it was still in early development, with Guild Wars 2 we will commence beta testing closer to the game’s release. With that in mind, we will not start beta testing in 2008 as we had originally planned. Guild Wars 2 is a very large and ambitious game, and Guild Wars players rightfully have very high expectations of its quality. We want players to be absolutely blown away by the game the first time they experience it.

No release date for Guild Wars 2 has been announced yet.

Two-Handed Axe. Purple item.
Sash
Inferior Quilted Pants
Minor Power Rune
Minor Lethality Rune
Quilted Pants
Leather Gloves
Elixir of Willpower I
Short Staff
Amulet

Enemies:
Ghoul
Grotesque - spawns ~20 Lamprey
Dark Berserker - Hammers. Have attack that makes hammer look like it is on fire. - Berserker gets hammer stuck in ground upon miss.
Dark Summoner - summons Dark Demons
Dark Demon
Wraith
Ghostly Orb - spawns Wraith
Zombie
Wretched Dead
Walking Corpse
Skeletal Archer
Skeletal Shieldmar
Dark Vessel - transforms into Activated Vessel
Beast
Skeletal Summoner
Scavenger
MoonClan Warrior
Moonclan Shaman
Wood Wraith

Notes:
-It looks like they removed the repair necessity. You don’t see repair status when mousing over the items in the inventory.
-Minimap is in the top-right corner now, instead of the middle of the screen. Tab does not bring up the map, either.
-Ambient fog in the tomb - keeps moving.
-Health/Mana keeps moving, or the graphic does.
-Water effects constantly. Creatures Barbarian is fighting don’t appear to upset the water, though. did Blizzard find a way to make water look good and take less graphical power? I hope so.
-Barbarian interrupts water.
-Draw distance - silhouettes of the creatures in the top of the screen climbing up the wall - black shapes.
-Pieces of the enemies fly off the bridge.
-Barbarian portrait has arrows for rotation under it.
-Stylized inventory space. Bags/gold in bottom-right. 4 bags per character now?
-Background: Watch the multiple levels while you play. You can see up/down the entire area.
-Barbarian freezes an enemy mid-attack. Can you combine this with Whirlwind and dual-frost weapons?
-Passive or active skill: Bottom left corner, hot button #4 on skillbar.
-Skillbar: Diablo (health) vs Tyrael (mana)?
-4:19 - enemy corpse still twitches when it is dead. Looks like even Blizzard can’t get rid of this!
-Bookcases are interactive, but actually look like they’re in the background.
-Cloth drapes blow in the background of the chest room. Mouse-pointer changes on chest - cog-wheel.
-Items auto-equip on equipmentless berserker.
-Cog-wheel on Mouse pointer means there is an interactive object. Ladder, chest.
-On ground: Mutilated corpse.
-Barbarian name: Sparker
-Character: Deckard Cain.
-Thought-bubble pops up when you mouse-over a character you can talk to.
-Character name: archer
-FURY? Specific to Barbarian?
-Barbarian hits quest-necessary door: Doesn’t show damage. When he hits other items, it does.
-Keeps boss health bar on top-mid of screen, regardless of mouse position.
-Walk over gold: automatic pickup
-11:48 - Character: Leah. Mentioned in Barbarian’s speech to D.C.
-Background: BUNNIES
Speculation: Pick up health-orb, nearby allies also get health if your health is full/near-full? - visible in the final boss fight of the video, when the Male Witchdoctor picks up an orb.

That sounds like unfortunate news, but it’s not that bad. Besides, don’t we all remember one of Blizzard’s last entries on a console, Starcraft 64? Yeah, it seems PC is the way to go. Link to the full interview after the jump.

Yep, the Diablo 3 train just keeps on rolling. We know there will be five different classes, but Blizzard has only unveiled two of them: the barbarian, which means we might see some previous classes make a return, and the witch doctor, an example of the new ideas for this upcoming game. 1UP has a great write-up about the gameplay demonstration of those two classes, which talks about new elements like destructible environments, the new healing system, and more. Read on for the link.

If you don’t remember, a good bit of the people that worked on Diablo and Diablo II left Blizzard and formed Flagship Studios, which put out the decidedly sub-par Hellgate: London. So, who’s in charge of the upcoming Diablo III? Well, that man’s name is Jay Wilson.

Previously, Wilson worked for Relic Entertainment, and he was the lead designer on Dawn of War, which is a Warhammer-based RTS game. The game received a large amount of praise, but we all know that Diablo III isn’t even close to an RTS, it’s an hack-and-slash action RPG! While we’re not sure how it will turn out, it’s good to know someone that worked on a well-received game is behind the third game following the Lord of Terror. In addition, it seems Blizzard has been working on the game for about four years so far, and they still consider it pretty early in the development process. That’s Blizzard for you.
