Posted on 10 June 2008 by Jason Maxwell

With the 4th Edition’s premier box-adventure out on shelves, the good folks at Wizards of the Coast saw fit to give us a review copy of the H1 Adventure Keep on the Shadowfell to play with..and play with it we did!

The new 4th Edition rules are now in stores, with the June 7th release now past us. So what better day than June 7th for my playgroup to finish our first adventure into the new world of Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition!

Review: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3: Fes (PS2)

Posted on 04 June 2008 by Aaron Barnett

After a lengthy wait and a great amount of praying, Atlus USA brought over Persona 3: Fes to the US and gave it a cheap price point to boot. This review will mainly focus on the new chapter included.

Posted on 28 May 2008 by William Gray

Strategy RPG. It is a genre that for the current gamer brings to mind Disgaea and Final Fantasy Tactics and the dozens of others that populate our consoles. It also reminds me of large parties, height and distance variations and class vs. class match-ups. Continue Reading

Retro Wednesday - Chrono Trigger

Posted on 07 May 2008 by Andrew Farrar

Chrono Trigger is often hailed as one of the best RPGs of all time. For many, this game set the standard for what RPGs should be. It is hard to be critical of a game that I have been playing for 13 years, so don’t expect any negativity after the break. This is as close to perfect as I’ve seen in my lifetime.

Review: Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis (PS2)

Posted on 20 April 2008 by Aaron Barnett

NIS America continues their tradition of bringing us Gust games, this time in the form of Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. For those that do not know, this game is a new entry in the Atelier series. While it is only the fourth game to be localized, it is actually the ninth Atelier title in Japan. Question is, is it any good?

Review: Baroque (Wii/PS2)

Posted on 20 April 2008 by Aaron Barnett

This odd game from the Developer Sting and published by Atlus USA. Atlus has always been known for bringing over very niche games, and this one is no different.
