Sega has stated the upcoming unique tactical RPG Valkyria Chronicles is only going to be on the PlayStation 3 . Rumors were flying around the air about Sega possibly releasing it on the PlayStation Portable in the future, but this is a no-go deal. Valkyria Chronicles will be in stores in Japan on April 24, 2008, while the North American release date is in November.

Please, remember this is a rumor. According to what is a supposed scan of this week’s Jump, Square-Enix has unveiled Chrono Trigger for the DS, another classic brought back to life. According to this “leaked” scan, it will not be upgraded to the extent of Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV, but it will be an enhanced port and will hit Japan this winter.
