AllRPG banner design contest

I remember this event was held long long time ago. Let's do it again shall we? Moogleman and Hyde are pretty good with graphic designs and I'm sure many here are too. So what do you folks say about a AllRPG banner design contest? The winners (top three) of this banner design contest would have their banner designs featured as the header of our forum. BTW, since Hyde and Moogleman is darn good in this, let's make them the default judges!

This isn't really feasible given our forum design. Swapping out banners isn't really all that easy, as they wouldn't look fluid at all.

Wait, do you mean a signature banner contest or an actual replacement for the header? The former is a good idea and has been done in the past, the latter I don't think has ever been done at AllRPG; you must be thinking of AllSquare.

As far as a signature banner contest, I don't see why that couldn't be tried again. It's been awhile...I don't even remember how the judging was organized. I'm not sure what the best way would be.

OIC and I thought you are a strong believer and supporter of user-generated content (UCG) idea. Guess I was wrong :(

If we can't change the header, maybe we should do at least the signature banner contest ya.

I am down with the sig banner contest. Needs to have specifications, rules, and thus forth, but it sounds like a dandy thing to do.

We could even make an award for it, a full fledged contest. Of course if this were made so the judges would be ineledgeable to compete.

I still don't see what's wrong with a regular banner contest, just for fun. I think in the past prizes have been along the lines of larger avatars (probably unncessary now) and custom titles.
