You know, only having a Wii is kind of hard sometimes. I really want a 360 for some of its amazing titles, but I also don't want that distraction. At the same time though (this is a little complicated, huh?), I want the Wii to get more good games worth buying! I just can't find anything these days that I want. It's kind of ridiculous.
I've seen screenshots of Muramasa on Gamespot.com and it looks like it's right up my alley. Aside from that, I'm interested in DeBlob and World of Goo (or whatever it's called).
That's about it though. And that makes me kind of sad. I'd love to see more games like Muramasa; high quality 2D action games based in Japanese mythology. Hell yeah.
I can't believe I made a thread. I haven't done this in like a year, I swear o_o
I wonder if I'll ever come back to it... haha

What is a Wii?
I have only played it for a total of five minutes and that is about it. Nothing really catches my attention like the other consoles or PC games. Also, alll of the games that are released on the VC, I can emulate them (yeah, blah, blah). So, I really have no incentive to buy a Wii.

Yea.. the amount of quality Wii games is dismal. I'm actually near the end of Super Paper Mario at the moment and it was pretty fun. Easy, but fun. And, not new. But, I've been spending a lot of time on my Wii playing it recently. But, to be honest, what I use the Wii for most of the time is the Virtual Console and the Internet Channel. When you have people over, the Internet Channel is awesome for watching Youtube videos. It's also easier for me to play old games on the Wii than to set up the whatever old console.
Skate It is coming out soon on the Wii. But, Skate 2 is also coming out soon for the XBox 360 and PS3 so it's kinda overshadowed. I don't think many people here play skateboarding games though...
There's a game called Deadly Creatures coming out in the not too distant future for the Wii that looks pretty cool. You play as either a spider or a scorpion.

My poor Wii :[
I guess I could always buy the newest Harvest Moon for it... (<-- very likely, in all honesty)

Don't forget the Klonoa: Door to Phantomile remake coming out; the original is one of my favorite games. I'm also keeping an eye on Animal Crossing and Punch-Out.
And as for WiiWare, there's Cave Story (with the option to play with remixed sound/graphics, plus other new stuff), Gradius Rebirth, and Eternity's Child.

See, even these games you guys are mentioning don't appeal to me much. I feel so left out with my Wii :[
I totally need a 360... Maybe in a couple years. Of course, by then it'll probably be about time for some new consoles o_o

Mad World. Even if that was the ONLY worthwile future release for the Wii, it would be more than enough.
The Wii is getting a Wiiware release of Cave Story. That is also quite awesome.
As for future nonwiiware releases that I am looking for:
Dead Rising: Chop til you Drop. Why? Because I lack the 360, and if it is half as fun as the Wii version of RE4 (which is THE superior version, due to pointer functionality), it'll be a blast. Hopefully, Capcom will decide to do a downgrade/upgrade like that for RE5, or port it to the Wii's succesor, because as long as RE5 is not in a console with pointer functionality, it'll be inferior to RE4.
Punch Out Wii is OBVIOUSLY something that I will get and love. Loses points if it does not have Soda Popinsky/Vodka Drunkensky, though.
As a Treasure semi-fanboy, I can't be anything but excited at the prospect of being able to play Sin and Punishment 2.
SSHIT, Sin and Punishment 1 is awesome, even if it feels a bit clunky with the GCN controller. The Wii sequel will have pointer functionality and it'll be incredible. Mark my words.
House of the Dead: Overkill.
It is fucking House of the Dead. It is going to be great and you know it.
The cheesy trailer is the best thing.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade, by Vanillaware is going to be gorgeous. I want to try it. Hopefully, they'll do all regions well, instead of just optimizing the Euro release, as they did for Odin Sphere. Seriously, having the prettiest slideshow in the world where your input is delayed by like a minute (or more) ain't fun.
Personally, I want to get (and play) Wii Sports resort. Wii Sports (and to a lesser degree, Wii Play) are damn fun when people come over. With or without alcohol being involved.
i rented De Blob, and am interested in acquiring a copy for myself. It is a pretty damn interesting game. I am also interested on Wii Music, should be fun for at least a while, and if not, at least my mom will be somewhat interested on it.

The RPG, Kizuna (if that is the name), seems like it might provide some great entertainment. I would not mind trying that out.

As always, I just wish we got more Japanese style games like Muramasa here. And of course, like Otogi. But that goes without saying I believe :)
I'm such an Otogi addict... I get cravings during my classes sometimes :[

Forgot about that one. Yes, that's near the top of my list as well.

I played almost all of the THPS games, if those count.
They even got me into skateboarding, I liked 'em so much. Then I broke my coccyx and decided I should change hobbies.
I'm relatively new to having a Wii - got one for my b-day in March - and I still need to pick up Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy. So, I still have some massive playtime left in the thing whenever I get around to getting those.
