View Full Version : Cell Phones!
well in this day and age its rare that no one does not have a cell phone. everyone has there own style that they like and they customize it to there liking with accessories that make it more personal. So my question is what kind of cell phones do you all have, and what kind of personalized items do you have for it?
right now I have a Sanyo 6600 Katana. colored blue, and it has a blue flame case on the bottom portion of it...
however tomorrow I am picking up my new phone. the new Motorola V950 Renegade.

My phone is nothing fancy, but I like it. It's a Sony Ericsson W350a. It has the standard stuff: camera, video, bluetooth.... I really like the organizer it has and the mp3 player on the front. Also, it's really small and compact. But the only thing I have customized is the wallpaper and the ring tone.

I have an LG enV2. It gets the job done and doesn't have a DUMB ASS touch-screen.

I had a Razr but it broke around a week ago. I was thinking of getting an iphone friday and I don't need a lot of minutes so the lowest plan ought to do it for me. Anyone else tried that out yet?

Same here, it's a great PHONE. I love mine. Sadly, HP is moving us over to the new iPaq next year. :(

I have the cheapest one I could get at the T Mobile store. My Rizr got so beat up over the course of 3 countries that I needed a new one for the UK- and this one has a much easier SIM card slot to change out when I change countries.
I really just need the basics for a cell phone. I'm the type where if you need to send more than about 10 words of text, pick up your damn phone and call me. I never take pictures, play games, or anything else, so the cheapest works for me.

there was this SUPER thin cell phone at target that i loved. it was costly though. i was amazed it had a camera in it. is was so thin that the case had to be widened where the power cord plugs in if i recall corectly. i want that phone.
instead i ended up with a $30 lg with net 10 service (i don't talk that much and they seem honest unlike t-moble... they don't keep adding new hidden costs!). this lg is almost as small over all and it's almost half as thick as my old phone, so i'm quite happy with it.

Viktor beware!!! The iPhone is not insurable! Just so you know.
The Varsh works at AT&T so he knows aloooot about cell phones. Not everything, but alot. The Varsh has a company paid Blackjack II. It's pretty bitchin but not as nice as some of the other phones (including the iPhone). Normally, The Varsh wouldn't need a phone that was advanced as the BJ II but work demands it. The Varsh really wants him an iPhone though...
im not a fan of touch screen or large phones either. my thing is if it dont fit in the useless pocket (the small pocket inside of your normal pocket in jeans, that is seemingly useless, but I use it for my cell phone cause its the only thing that pocket is good for), then its not worth owning. :P

KRZR. I want a new phone but mobiles are getting ridiculusly expensive these days. I wont ever spend more than 250 on a phone, and it has to be bitching.
I have a KRZR that I never use. When it rings, I ignore it. In fact, I turn it off most of the time.
Why do I have it? I might need it.

Well my regular everyday phone is an iPhone, I was wowed by it when I got it but now I find it to be just another gimmick. My work phone is the BB Bold and its really the nicest phone I've used. Everything I've ever wanted in a phone and more. I find, however, that the BB Messenger is a pain because my contacts seem to keep getting erased and can't understand why.
Oh and the Blackjack II is a really nice phone.

I have two cell phones and both of them are nothing to brag about. I would never spend a lot on a cell phone because I have proven that I am no good at taking care of them. I am always dropping them on the floor, sidewalk, or even the middle of the road, so that every corner of one of my phones is covered in dents and scratches. I have never broken the display screens though and everything functions, it's just ugly.

Just got a Palm Treo 800 for $50 after my 750 decided to take a swim in the toilet. I mostly use it for IM, Internet, and Google Maps.

All I know is that I would enjoy not having one. Life would be much more simple.

Under a contract at the moment. I might actually want one in the future, so no use in screwing with my credit right now.
I've had the same cell phone for three years. It doesn't work properly anymore; randomly shutting off, wallpaper not displaying, and taking several minutes to access text messages. The alarm clock is still reliable though.

wallpaper not displaying
Oh, no! ;)
I myself have been having cell phone troubles lately. Either I'm being overcharged or I'm calling from my pocket, and the log doesn't work correctly so I can't check.
Hey man, there's only so much white screen I can handle in my lifetime. I'm getting close to that limit.

I bought the new Google phone for the convenience of having the internet pretty much everywhere I do. the phone still has some bugs that need to be worked out but its still a great phone.
I only own a cell phone there is no point in having a lan line phone unless your stuck getting dsl over cable internet.
