I have tons of these. In fact, I'm willing to bet most games I own fall into this category. I'd sell them, but the problem is that I'm always afraid I'll want to play them after they're gone. And some of them I fear I won't be able to find again to purchase if I do decide that I want them after I've sold them. It's really sad. Among several others, one series of games, Guilty Gear X, really stands out to me as wasted space that I'm afraid to free up. I own Guilty Gear X, Guilty Gear X2, and Guilty Gear Isuka. Generally speaking, it would make most sense to get rid of the first two and leave Isuka, since it features all the characters from those other games, plus a couple more. It also has several more gameplay modes. But I still can't bring myself to get rid of them, even though I haven't played any of them in several years, and probably won't ever again. I have a whole bunch of games that I just can't seem to part with even though I'm confident that they'll just sit there on the shelf, useless and taking up space. It's pathetic, really. Anybody else share this dilemma?

Yeah I know how you feel! I've traded in about 30 games that I know I will never play again, but I still have 100+ sitting on the shelf, most of those I've already replayed, other than now-gen games. But you pay enough money for them (usually), so why not keep them?

At least 90% of my collection mate. Actually it would be easier to name thos games I see myself playing as the years come and go like Xenogears, FFVIII, Jet Grind Radio, Marvel Vs Capcom.

If you knew me in actuality you'd never want to get rid of those GG games.

I never play Diablo 2.

All of them. I try to replay a game, but I only get in about thirty minutes to an hour and become extremely bored with it. However, I will pop in Rez every once in a while.

Damn you...

I've looked high and low for that game.

Yeah, me too. Need to get my PS2 back though, I've been without it for a few months.

I'll probably never play about half my collection again. I'm still reluctant to sell any games, though. I haven't for a few years.

Too many games. My time is limited and the games I've played already I can't take the time to replay..that would just take time away from games I haven't played yet. I make few exceptions for exceptional games. I'm a collector and could never sell or trade any of my games even the clunkers.

No, actually. I tend to sell anything I know I won't be replaying ever again. So my collection of 300 or so games was reduced to about 10 a few years ago. The real prizes that I'll play 10 more times in my life, minimum, include: Breath of Fire 3, Suikoden, Metal Gear Solid 3, Persona 3, etc.

I also keep some SNES and NES cartridges for sentimental value. I will never play Earthbound or Super Mario RPG on my SNES again, but I'll keep the games. I also hold onto my copy of Gyromite because it was the first thing my brother ever gave me that wasn't a teddy bear.

I'm too much of a packrat to sell anything that isn't an annual sports title, and they resell for dump anyway.

If you've got a 360 and link it online you can download Rez HD which is supposed to be of better quality then either the DC or PS2 versions of the game.

Of my games I use to replay a fair number of older games (8 and 16 bit titles). I have so many games though and I often can't get around to replaying them all, or finish them all for that matter. I'm usually stuck buying new games and then not even opening them because I don't have the time to play them all. I guess roughly 75-80% of them never get replayed even once.

Of the ones that I do replay, just off the top of my head, things like Shining Force series, Contra, Super C, Double Dragon II, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros. 3, Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star IV, NHL 94, Streets of Rage 1 and 2, Sonic the Hedgehog...the list really doesn't end.

I have too many NES games that I will never and have never played. My boyfriend and I went crazy on EBay one day and bought over 80 games from some dude who was actually just across the harbour, so we arranged to pick it up at a neutral location. Many of those games we've played once and then never touched again. The collection has also grown to over 100 since then through donations and good finds in used game stores, but those were mostly good games that we do play sometimes when we're bored or drunk. Anyway, I wouldn't mind getting rid of all those games that we don't play, but I'm not allowed.

As far as games from newer generations go, I tend to sell games that I will never play again.

It would be much easier to list the games I will play again.

Empereal Fantasia...or however you spell it. I never even beat the game...and I quit playing it altogether. that and the Xenosaga series...such a huge let down.

Yeah, that's another reason I can't bring myself to sell some of my games: several I just never finished. I'm sure I'll never actually play them again, but there's still that lingering doubt that maybe one day I will return to them and finally get some closure, even though I have never once been able to re-focus my attention on them. And some titles I really did, at one time, truly desire to play to completion, like The Legend of Dragoon, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, or Gungrave: Overdose. Games like those were quite fun to play, but just somehow lost me.

I'd like to say none but I have soo many games that I honestly don't know.

I can agree with that Sen. I have lots of games that I start playing and enjoy a lot but for some reason I put them down. I just buy a new game or I go back to another game. Gungrave OD is quite short though if you go back to it. It doesn't take much effort to finish that game (plus it's just a nice action romp).

I only played it once, on the day I bought it. I was really into the Gungrave anime at the time. I got to a point where I died, and then never tried again. Never tried playing as the other two characters either. It was definitely a better game than the first one, though.

I'm just counting the games for this generation that I don't play but still own.

Ratchet and Clank Future (PS3)
Condemned 2 (PS3)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3)
Armored Core 4 (PS3)
Battlefield Bad Company (PS3)
WarioLand Shake It! (Wii)
Super Paper Mario (Wii)
Metroid Prime 3 (Wii)
No More Heroes (Wii)
N+ (NDS)
Geometry Wars (NDS)
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (NDS)

All good games in their respective right, but nothing that'll pull me away from what I'm currently playing.
