I just started up again, but went back to my old 70 mage on a PvE server. Unfortunately raid progression is light years away from where I left off, so now I just rep grind and collect mounts. It's not as boring as it sounds, but I started playing my 70 holy priest for fun, and healing random instances is actually a lot more engaging (in small doses).
So do any of you guys still play? What classes do you play, what kind of things do you do, etc. I know you're out there. :>

I just cancelled my account. I got my druid to level 67 and then descended into extreme boredom.

I still play. I restarted on a PvE server though.
Azjol-Nerub server, Blood Elf Hunter. So far i'm at 25 and liking it more than healing.

I have a level 29 BE Paladin on Exodar, but I don't play as much now that I have my PS3.

The new patch just got put on the PTR. Interesting stuff there.

Hightlights for me:
#Mounts at 30?! Yes, it's true: Apprentice Riding and mounts are now available at level 30. Training costs 35 gold.
# Curse of Shadows: This spell has been removed.
# Curse of Elements: This spell now applies to Arcane and Shadow damage, as well as Frost and Fire.

I had a character on that server a long time ago--when it was brand new. I stopped playing on it pretty shortly thereafter, though. It had the worst lag of any server I'd ever played on, and have since played on. But this was at a time when a lot of the servers were crashing frequently. Don't remember why, though. I'm sure it's better now, but that's how I'll always remember it. =(

Lol I still remember when mounts were 100g. Seemed like a lot back then. I think I have one or two 20-something alts. I should at least get 'em to 30 and get mounts.

Mounts are still 100g. These are only test realm notes. Eventually they'll be live though.
As far as A-N goes, once in a great while I get a d/c, but I think it's my local connection. I just picked it cause the server time matches my local time. That and I was tired of PvP servers.

Lol I can't imagine trying to play a 70 on a PvP server doing dailies or whatever. The highest character I got on a PvP server was I think 58 or 59, but it was a hunter, which was pretty ezmode. PvP on a hunter is extraordinarily fun, by the way. I guess that's why I really didn't mind it at the time--but also, BC had only been out for maybe 2 months, so there was no one in the old world.
I can't imagine it on my mage though, hard to recover from a gank. One time I was doing dailies on Quel'danas and someone was flagged standing on top of the smith (aka badge vendor) and I right clicked him. And immediately got raped. I was mad running back and then when I rezzed I thought about it for a few seconds, then stood right on top of the smith. Someone else clicked on me and immediately got raped. All I could think was "...that was way funnier than I thought it would be."
Anyway wtf, how do people do QD dailies on PvP servers?

Very carefully. Seriously, it just sucks.
The reason I moved to PvE was farming Primals for my Frozen Shadoweave on my priest was just ridiculous. Farming anything without getting ganked every few minutes was just impossible, so I got fed up and moved on.
Been thinking of transferring my characters over, but at $10 a pop it's not really worth it.

I'd like to play, but like anything, it's hard to just do it. Plus I am busy as hell these days, so I would be giving away another chunk of my time to something that really would only benefit my want to play video games.

Hey, shut it.
I've been playing for a little over a year now. All on Exodar server (PvE). I have a lvl 70 troll hunter and a level 35 Tauren warrior. All the sudden a couple weeks ago I got really bored.
So yesterday I started my first ally, also on Exodar. A Night Elf Druid.

Well, I've got a level 60 mage on Akama (PVP), and a level 30 mage on Greymane (PVE). Haven't been playing much the last few weeks, I get burnt out and take breaks, but I'm sure I'll get back into it soon.
I can never decide what I prefer, PVP or PVE servers. I'm not much for wanting to PVP, I don't like ganking other people, and I hate getting ganked myself. But, it kinda takes a little bit of the fun out of it on PVE servers, when you don't have that worry hanging over you that someone is waiting to jump you.
But it is much easier on PVE, to get stuff done. I've never levelled thru Tarren Mills before without getting killed every 10 minutes, it was kinda nice.
Somehow, no matter how hard I try, I can't stand to play Alliance. I've played Horde the whole time, learned all the quests and stuff, and I'm just more comfortable on that side.

Well I was all about PvP servers until I got my second 70.
Then I had to start farming mats for high level crafting gear and it was just too much of a pain in the butt to get anything done without having to PvP constantly.
I was an Alliance lover until I transfered, and now I'm trying out the Horde just for a nice change of pace.

Cancelled my subscription a month ago. Probably not for good since I've played WoW since release and taken 2 - 6 month breaks before. I have 3 level 70 characters. Human warlock and human holy priest on Skywall (PVE) and an undead prot warrior on Gorefiend (PVP).

I canceled my account a few months ago when I learned my computer can't handle raids. It was kind of depressing.
I had a 70 Rogue as my main, who was a lot of fun to play. Also had a 35 Mage, 30ish Priest, and 10-20ish every other class except Hunter and Warlock. I hate pet classes.

Before my previous computer blew up I was running max settings in Shatt. My backup computer runs wow with minimum graphics. I could still raid with the backup but certain areas are iffy such as the stairs before hanging a left to Moroes in Kara. I'd spam flash heal on the lock or mage that'd inevitably get threat on the entire pull and hope for the best. But then I didn't suffer any slowdown on Morogrim with all the murlocs in SSC. It might've been due to geometry though.
I kinda miss healing raids...

I played it for a couple of months. Had a rogue on a PvP server. I just never really got into it like I did with Final Fantasy XI. However, I think I was just addicted to FFXI like meth. I had withdraws... oh Zeus, the withdraws.
Dire, there was a player named DireCharm in a BG I was in. I don't remember what server but I asked, and it wasn't you.
I mostly play on Darkspear(pvp) with my level 61 Shadow Priest. Ruzi and Haya(not that active) are on that server with more than one level 70.

Yeah, Data, I do use DireCharm as my account name, but I've never had a character with that name.
