Hey Kids,
Just giving you a little update on the goings-on around here.
Endgamer is being worked on diligently(as I have time) and articles are being submitted for a first issue to hopefully hit ON Valentine's Day, but no later than the last day of February.
However, I'm sure as community members, one thing you care more about than that is the server issues we've experienced the last couple months. Downtime sucks.
I'm not sure what ever happened to the server I use. They used to be phenomenal. I'd never have any downtime. However, as of late, it seems to be frequent...along with server slowdown. So we're moving the forums and stuff to a new server over the next month or so...
Don't worry...you probably won't even notice til the day we do it and the site is down for an hour or two while the DNS switches over.
Anyway, that means we're gonna be purchasing new webspace. Now...our term with our current server is near expiration, so we won't be recouping any of that, so I'll be buying new space. I'm not actually needing to ASK for donations, but if you wish to donate to the cause, please feel free. From now until the time we move, any donation we receive of $30 or more will garner the Gold Member status and all the benefits that will have as the new allrpg goes live, along with notification on the site itself that you're a "Gold Member."
Like I said..it's not necessary. The new server is very reasonable and I've worked a good deal with them for the kind of service we'll need, but every little bit helps out the site and keeps it running.
If you want to donate, paypal is still easiest by paypaling to: paypal@perfect-drug.org . If you do, please remember to include your forum Nickname in the message so I know who is who.
Lastly, we have begun renewed relations with game developers(Special Shout out to the awesome people at Bethesda) and will be looking to "hire" game reviewers and columnists for Endgamer and a few dedicated organizers for AllRPG.
So..until then...Thanks again. You guys are great, warts and all. Even you Atlas. ;)
