Hey Everyone,
So the forums had been down the last couple of days. No...I have no idea why. For once it was not our webhost's fault. I have no explanation except to say that somehow the PHP Coding files that run the site with vBulletin had all their permissions changed so that anyone could edit them in any way. When that happens, it appear vBulletin shuts down so it can't actually hurt anything. Good safety protocol, but one I didn't know about and haven't been able to raise Serge for any info on it.
Anyway, I managed to get everything set back to where it was, and...in theory...everything is back in working order.
Now as for the immediate future...
Within the next 2 weeks, around the first of the month, you'll see the forums offline again for no more than a day, I would think. We'll be migrating to better hosting and carrying everything with us so long as we get everything set up on time. That's a big if at the moment so everyone should send Serge some....reminders...that I need his help to do this and he needs to make himself available. We love you Overgod Serge. Now come to daddy so we can get this shit done.
Anyway, that's the haps...now with everything in my schooling and such over, I can devote the time I couldn't before to getting us up and running. More info on that in a different post soon...
