Stella Deus or Disgaea

I'm currently looking into purchasing one of these games. Which one would be worth my time?

I've only played a little bit of Stella Deus and it seemed find but nothing particularly special. I know that a few people around here have played it and really hated it a lot. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness on the other hand has an undenyable charm that isn't easily forgotten. The battle system is strong and you can pretty much spend yor entire life playing the weapon spirit world if you want to. Well worth the investment if you want a good strategy RPG. I'm guessing you are refering to the PS2 version?

Disgaea is better I think..like mentioned you can play the game forever practically. The story is good and it has a fantastic cast of characters. Some very memorable characters and it's quite funny too. Downside you will need to spend time leveling. I heard the PSP port was well made and has some extras.
Stella Deus is not a bad game, just very average. I like the art style..purty. The story is forgettable as well as the characters. The enemy AI is awful which equates to an easy game. If you need a srpg to pass some time than you can play this game. You may like it.

I have only heard bad things over Stella Deus and didnt end up buying it even though I was highly anticipating it before it came out. Disgaea kicks ass.

I've been hankering for a SRPG and wanted to get one that was fun. I looked at Stella Dues and most reviews were mixed results. Disgaea seems to be a better bet.

Hmm both are great games, but it really depends are on what you're looking for. Do you want great characters and a good laugh, or great characters and drama?

Like I said, I loved both, but I think I'd choose Stella Deus over Disgaea... not by much though. Really you can't go wrong either way IMO.

well I would say Disgaea. but thats only because I love it to death, but I have never played Stella Deus. so I really have no oppinion on it.
