Been quite a long time since we've done this and it's always some fun. Let's see who has some video game knowledge.
The game is simple. One poster asks a question and then someone answers it. If they are correct they get to post a new question for everyone else. I think that I can be the tally pointer and we can see who is the tops of our forum. Let's have a 24 hour limit for a question/answer. If for some reason the poster with the question can't confirm or accept the answer, it will become void and a new question can be asked.
I'll get it started
What "Street Fighter" character made a special appearance in Breath of Fire for the SNES?
Atlas
06-21-2008, 03:48 PM
Chun-li.
How many party members were available in Chrono Cross?
Sushi_b
06-21-2008, 03:50 PM
Wow, I haven't played CC in such a long time. I'll take a guess...56? Seems like too much but there were some really stupid characters in that game.
Atlas
06-21-2008, 03:53 PM
Not quite that many.
Sushi_b
06-21-2008, 03:59 PM
I'll take another guess, even though I could easily just jump onto a site and find out the exact number I won't do that. Was it 48 then?
Phakiel
06-21-2008, 04:12 PM
Thats because it is not in the spirit of the game Sush. And I dont know how many were there.

06-21-2008, 04:14 PM
Of course and you know that I like to follow the rules. Doesn't make sense if I start the game and then start cheating. Still waiting on Atlus for any results. For some reason now 46 is also creeping into my mind. I'm trying to think of all those old arguements of why "CC suxors and CT r0x" threads that use to always pop up every month to remember the actual number. I'll stick with 48 though.
You should just throw out a number Phak, regardless of know for sure or not.
Atlas
06-21-2008, 04:30 PM
Fourty-five is the correct answer, actually.
New question:
Which main male character does the video game Grandia revolve around?
Atlas
06-21-2008, 04:38 PM
Right.
Matron
06-23-2008, 01:41 AM
Umm, is anyone gonna ask another question?
Raidou

I think it should be Hyde's turn since he got the answer for Atlas. But any way, why wait?
Name Shinryu's special attack in Final Fantasy.

Not to rain on the parade of Raido, but it appears that there are no takers for the question so let's keep the game rolling with something new. The floor is open to anyone else.
Scores so far only stand as this...
Hyde = 1
Atlus = 1

How many Final Fantasy titles are scheduled to be released for PS3 in the future. Name all of them.
ChibiKawase
06-24-2008, 08:36 PM
Final Fantasy XIII, FF Versus XIII.
Raidou
06-25-2008, 02:07 AM
Correcto. You're up next.

Mr. Bones, a late-era Saturn title, features which guitarist as the game's composer?
Raidou
06-25-2008, 10:37 AM
Anything Saturn and/or Dreamcast, please just direct those kind of questions directly to sushi. He seems to remember everything Saturn and/or Dreamcast. I'll pass on this question, difficulty too high for me.
Sushi_b
06-25-2008, 10:52 AM
I'll throw it out, Ronnie Montrose. I've only played Mr. Bones one time, not that interesting to me, but it was definately quite unique then and still now. Perhaps we will see Mr.Bones/Guitar Hero!
Alright, Let's shift to...
What is Super Mario/Luigi's last name?
Raidou
06-25-2008, 11:08 AM
The answer probably can be found in Mariopedia. too lazy to look for it.
Sushi_b
06-25-2008, 11:09 AM
It's easier then you think.... Don't think to hard and you can find the answer.
Raidou
06-25-2008, 11:10 AM
Mario Bros? Mario Peach?
Isama_Suhern
06-25-2008, 05:08 PM
I don't know if this is what you are asking for but since they are the Mario Bros their last name would be Mario.
Cyrus the virus
06-25-2008, 07:37 PM
Yeah, it's Mario. Which is kind of insane.
Phakiel
06-25-2008, 09:34 PM
I thought their last name was common knowledge.
Blackdragon
06-26-2008, 12:48 AM
I only know because I saw that craptastic Mario movie...
Phakiel
06-26-2008, 12:51 AM
Ugh that movie was horrible, it was even worse than Stret Fighter.
Sushi_b
06-26-2008, 01:31 AM
Yup, Well Isama threw out the answer first so the floor is open for him to take charge with a new question. Nice to see you back Isama, BTW.

Atlus: 1

In Breath of Fire 3, what kind of dragon do you soon fight after you reawaken as an adult?
Sushi_b
06-30-2008, 07:43 AM
Been a long time since I've played BoF III Cyrus, but I know it's one of your favs. Just taking a guess and seeing if I can remember. Was it a lightning (perhaps a bahamut) dragon?
Cyrus the virus
06-30-2008, 09:03 PM
Nope! Good try, though. You fight it in the mines.
Sushi_b
07-02-2008, 04:39 AM
We are stumped Cyrus. Perhaps it's best to throw out the answer and then put up a new question. Just to keep the thread at least a little alive. :)

I can't seem to find a picture, but it's a Dragon Zombie. RAR!
Ness' attack: Psi _____'

I know that if Ges were around, he'd have the answer to your question Cyrus. Let's see if we can't pose out a new question for others to answer.
How old is Nintendo?
Phakiel
07-13-2008, 05:19 PM
Damn, I dont know the exact age but they started like in the late 19th century making trading cards, so they might be between 100 and 110 years old.
Polygon
07-13-2008, 05:44 PM
Damn, I think you're pretty close. If I recall Nintendo was founded in 1889 which would make it about 119 years old.
Sushi_b
07-14-2008, 01:28 AM
Well done Poly. Nintendo is in fact that old. Crazy to believe but really neat at the same time.
You're up Polygon.
Polygon

This is a hard one because it's older and it was never a huge title.
In Steel Empire AKA Koutetsu Teikoku for the Genesis what was the only way to defeat the final boss?
Sushi_b
07-14-2008, 04:37 AM
I'd answer Poly, I actually own Steel Empire, but the biggest problem is I ordered it online and had it sent to my home, but not where I am currently living. So, I don't know the answer.
My guess would be that you have to use a bomb to finish the game though.
Polygon
07-14-2008, 04:56 AM
Nope, the bombs are helpful to defeat the final boss but not needed. This answer will help you out since I got through the entire game only to die. The next day I figured it out.
Sushi_b
07-14-2008, 06:22 AM
It will help me...in 2 years. I don't plan on going home to collect my Genesis collection anytime soon so I'll have to re-dig up this thread then for the answer.
I'll try another option. You have to fly into the final boss and sacrifice your ship. Again, a total guess.
Polygon
07-14-2008, 07:24 AM
LOL, nope.
Actually, it is the only point in the game where you're stationary. Throughout the match there are asteroids drifting through the stage. They block your shots from hitting him, but not from hitting you. He goes through different stages of defense as you damage him. The last stage are two arms that extend from the top and bottom of his ship. He then fires off walls of fire. There is no way you can block them or escape save for hiding behind the asteroids. Then, when he pauses you come out and fire on him.

Is that the answer Poly or just another clue? I'm now more confused. :P Either way sounds like it's a pretty tough battle. Isn't the ship in the game a sort of Bi-plane and it's fighting in space?
Point noted Cyrus. Thanks :)
Polygon
07-16-2008, 03:04 AM
Nope, that was the answer. Just watch this video and you'll see what I mean:
hI-xIEPErvk
Also, you can use a blimp, still, it's just as absurd.
Sushi_b
07-16-2008, 10:18 AM
Haha, that just sucks. I can see why you'd be upset Poly. I'd probably be swearing at first as well until I figured it out. Pretty strange game design. Almost a flaw kind of.
Anyways, I'll leave the floor open to someone else to ask a new question.
Isama_Suhern
07-24-2008, 01:55 AM
I guess since I was supposed ask a question before I will ask one now.
In Ogre Battle 64 what equipment (armor and helmet) do you need to class change a unit into a Princess.
