There's a whole thread on this in the ALLRPG Discussion board.
We don't have many active users and without a website to tie to the forum, it's hard to get more traffic. Most people here have real lives- I'm one of the youngest and I'm in my last year of college. Between school, jobs, family, and other obligations, we don't have as much time as we did when we were 14 or 15 when many people started coming here (or other similar forums). If there was more traffic and more users, perhaps those of us who are busy would have more time to dedicate to posting more but when it's the same small group of people rehashing the same types of topics where we can already predict how the others will answer, it's not as fun as it used to be.

I want it to be.
yeah I started here back when I was 15. joined the military at 18 then have been on and off the last 4 1/2 years. its been a bumpy ride however this is my first forum (back when allrpg was first created from the Chrono Cross froums) and I do rather enjoy the ol crowd here. but sadly many have moved on. :(

I would say something, but I have nothing to say.

Fuck man, I even stopped gaming.
It was a mess of things, work got too tough, I thought that 500 bucks for a console was way too much, HDTVs made it seem like a waste to buy a console to plug it into a standard tv, the xbox 360 still doesnt fucking works (what the fuck is up with that? I remember when all you needed was a well built console that would last for 5 years, now this RROD crap? I called bull) and mother dropping my ps2 from 4 feet in the air.
yeah it is crazy, so much has happened. I do miss the old glory days here.
This place needs more controversy.

i still game, well, not for now due to money. but if i had a job, i'd be gaming. but the catch is i'd not be gaming that much. that's mostly due to me wanting to spend time painting, and having to use the bus and bicycle to get around, and gym time, and the fact that there are few games out nowadays i feel like spending my time on.
Am I the only one that actually still wastes my free time playing games?
:P

The second my applications are submitted (mid-December), I'm going to immerse myself in so much nerdery that Biske himself will look down on me.

Sometimes I wish I still lived like that, but I'm content. However, I'm quite sure I'll eventually get into something pertaining to video games--even if it's only GameBoy related. Mmm... I do love me some GameBoy.
Allrpg needs a makeover and a role play forum. I tried to convince blue, but he needs people who will post in it because it failed last time.
Yeah it failed massively. Not my fault.
Yeah, maybe it was.
Althanas had 12 to 18 people maintaining it and ours had three. We needed all three to be active, and I was in a rut. That's why I want to bring back the IV. Might as well keep it simple.

Nope. If I'm not spending time with my girl, I'm playing a game or sleeping. And we all know how much I hate sleeping. I just finished FF7 Crisis Core, and am now playing Assassins Creed 2. I'm pretty much going to be a gamer until my hands fall off. Shoot, even then I'll try to find a way.
