That's right. The DS is getting yet another pokemon game. This is predictable, since every game series other than the remade leaf green and fire red games.

So much like Emerald was to Sapphire and Ruby and Yellow was for Blue and Red, Diamond and pearl are getting their third and it is going to be called the Platinum version.

Some of you may have seen the Giratina Origin form on the internet. It's said that this form, along with new form of shaymin will be obtainable in this new version.

There are also speculations about two new games for the DS called Pokemon Dusk Gold and Pokemon Dawn Silver, which are most likely remakes of pokemon gold and silver. No major information has been leaked, only images of the game covers:

Ok...even I'm beginning to believe this is getting ridiculous. There's no way in hell I'm starting the same story over again. They should use thier resources to just make something new instead.

Platinum seems to have more of a difference than any of the other third versions in Pokemon gaming history. The plot will have some minor twists to it as well.

And if you're referring to Gold and Silver, then I don't feel the same way. Gold/Silver is actually needed here in order to be able to get all of the needed pokemon to complete the pokedex. Also I'm sure it will be completely different to the original game and will most likely be based on the D/P gameplay.
