I'm surprised that there's no threads on this game yet. I'm about half way through the game and I've liked it so far. The story is pretty typical and the battle system is simple, but it reminds me of some old school RPGs. It's been a nice change of pace from intense RPGs like Demons Souls and Dragon age.

I haven't done too much with the Georama, but I have done a few quests online and built a little town. It's a really nice idea, but I just feel there needs to be more incentives to doing it. The game is really easy so building a town and doing online quests to get better equipment isn't necessary.

Despite it getting horrible reviews (6/10 on gamespot) I'm having fun with this Level 5 title. Anyone else playing this game/how do you feel about it?

I was actually planning to get this game until I read most of the reviews, so now I'm not so sure if it would be worth the money.

Perhaps later on when it drops in price...

I'm getting closer to the end, and you would be better off to wait until it drops in price. It's an alright game but nothing spectacular. I hope the second White Knight Chronicles improves on what the first has done.

I gave it a pretty good try but I really didn't like it at all. The combat was too slow and the gameplay just didn't interest me at all. Seems to me like they just focused on graphics. The presentation is amazing but the actual game parts just didn't live up to the hype for me.

I just finished the game and I am terribly disappointed. The entire game seems like it was a preview for the next installment of the series. They took way too much time to develop an online component that has little significance and the game was so easy that I did not die even once. The graphics component was about the only thing that I can say was good about this game.

I highly recommend for everyone to NOT get this game. The second game seems intriguing so if Level 5 can improve on the faults made in this game then I'd recommend for people to read about the small storyline of this game and pick up WKCII.
