Anyone here plays Neverwinter Nights 1 still?

Yes I know...it is an old game...but still the best if you consider it has both D&D and multiplayer capability.

I have my own server in this and I am wondering if anyone is up for some adventures in this world.

Recently reinstalled it. Found the interface to be quite bad and couldn't get into it.

Strangely then I got NWN2, and got into it much faster. Maybe because it has a mode where it handles very similarly to Baldur's Gate.
Only with worse pathfinding, and a more informative user interface.

Dude, what? I was like in high school when this came out.

Not to say I dont well much into old games as I do like to dabble into early 00s strategy like Age of Empires and Rise of Nations, but NWN I just kinda felt like it came and went.

EDIT: I remember now! This was not a strategy but like a weird mix right, like Diablo thrown in there for some reason. Never liked Diablo.

Well now I am REALLY liking NWN2, particularly with the Explore camera/gameplay style. It is slightly faster paced than BG (of course, I am a cheating bastard and have friendly fire on spells disabled. HELL YES UNDISCRIMINATE FIREBALLING and Grease), and while the interface kind of sucks (less so than in Planescape: Torment), it is a load of fun. Would be slightly better if like in the Infinity Engine games you could get 6 characters instead of 4 at the same time, but eh, I guess it's that way for balance reasons (and that your characters don't die when they lose in battle unless ALL of them fall).

Still, I would like to have a bard, two warriors, a cleric, a sorcerer/wizard/insert another casting class and a thief, just like I had in Baldur's Gate.

(also BG2 kind of sucked that there was like one half-decent thief without cheating. Imoen sucks at that, on the other hand, getting all characters to become absolutely broken on the expansion is awesome)
