When making my Icon thread I wanted to include some actors and actresses that I love but I don't really think actors and actresses should be in the same category unless someone is an aspiring actor or actress.

I've never seen JBCR I am against the viewing of contemporary James Bond productions. I liked her in the dreamers. Even though she showed a lot of skin, that wasn't really what I was interested in. But now that you mention it she is not as deserving of that spot as Tilda Swinton. Her performance in Narnia made the 2 hours I wasted watching that awful film worthwhile. And of course I like all her other performances beforehand.

Natalie Portman unnggg what a fox.

She came to visit the gallery I worked at this summer and I was her tour guide for the day, then we went for a Starbucks together with her sister. I love her to bits. That was the only time I got starstruck when seeing a celebrity. I met a few other people I admire, but talking to her was like a dream.

What do you mean essentially? Also is he jewish? He sounds like a polish jew or something. Maybe she is biased.

His ancestors were Jewish but he is neither religiously nor really ethnically Jewish- his mother was not a Jew and therefore he is not seen as a Jew by the Jewish community. That didn't stop the Nazis from believing he was, so he's a survivor of the Krakow ghetto. He escaped before he was 10 years old which is probably the only reason he survived. His mother died in Auschwitz and his father survived Mauthausen.

In any case, I'm of mixed opinion. I certainly think he's guilty, but I also think he was (and possibly still is) mentally ill following the murder of Sharon Tate. At this point he's an old man so I don't really know if a prison sentence is going to do anything. The victim has long advocated for charges to be dropped.
