I hate Bing!

I remember a more complicated time when everybody had a different search engine. In the days before google I remember I always preferred to use Webcrawler, mother liked her Altavista and some friends used Yahoo or Lycos.

Now everybody uses google and it is so universal that it is now a verb just like using Wikipedia is.

But these days, there that stupid Bing crap. I get redirected to msn and bing after checking my hotmail and it irks me to no end. I do read some of the stories posted on msn home page, sometimes they are interesting. But I just cant stand Bing.

its really a stupid name dont you think? I was fine when it was Live search or whatever, but this hip onomatopeish thing they are trying with bing really annoys me.

Sometimes I dont notice and instead of writing on the google search part of the toolbar on firefox, the cursor automatically lands on the bing search box and not knowingly I search on bing. And that kills my day. Really I need some time to recuperate after accidentally searching Bing, just fucking hate it.

So yeah, you google?

I do Google. Actually, I even just bought the new HTC Hero with Google. Very nice phone.

I'm definitely no fan of bing but it's not quite as bad as some would lead you to believe. The video search is actually pretty good (for porn).

Of all its flaws its logo is probably the worst though. I don't know what the hell they were thinking, it's one of the worst I've ever seen.

My search engine history kind of goes from yahoo/hotbot -> altavista/alltheweb -> google and that's it. And dogpile was the shit for meta-search.

Bing videos actually buffers up like 30 seconds of the video in the video search. Yes. It is pretty well done there.
