Celebrity you would choose to be the president of US?

This poll was asked in a previous issue of GQ. Thought it would be fun for us to imagine and discuss about the consequences/ impacts of a well-known celebrity holding the most powerful position in the world, the President of the USA!

Please do not suggest any other celebrities, only choose/ cast your vote from the list provided. Explain your choice of candidate, and why would he/ she be successful? What about the others from the list? Why would they lose?

He's already played the president, convincingly, for 7 years as part of The West Wing, one of the best shows ever.

I don't care if it's even his normal personality or not...Jed Bartlet in the White House is automatic WIN.

And now California has Schwartzenegger... Amusingly, my Bachelor's degree will have his "signature." Of course, it's not going to be his actual signature and instead a signature stamp, but it's still amusing to me.

I chose Morgan Freeman. I remember him for his role as US President in Deep Impact. He does talk like a President, patience, calm, full of charisma, and I just like him for all his acting in other movie titles he starred as well. Yaa, he is one of my favourite male actor alright. Ok I'm a little bias but I want to see what US will be with a Black american president.

Will Smith and Tom Hanks are both my joint runner-up. Both have fantastic personality as a man, actor, dad, etc.

I've been really bored lately, so I looked into it, and the one that has some good credentials is Clooney. Humanitarian and environmentalist. Eh, I'm saying if it was really a pointing-a-gun-at-my-head-with-those-options choice.
