personally I think magaki from kof xi is the cheapest boss ever made. I swear magaki defines what it is to be cheap.
could a mod please change the final option from gill to other I put that there by mistake and can't seem to edit my poll.

Gill always seemed really cheap to me. I don't know, he just has too many moves. Bison was always a little bit unfairly faster then you it seemed, but never so unbeatable. Akuma was pretty bad at times, just too damn fast.

Onslaught is a joke. it shouldnt be there at the first place. Can be easily defeated with a few rounds of super special projectile moves.
Duke of KOF Impact is another push over. Can be easily defeated with any characters from the roster. Also, he no longer is the end boss in KOF Impact 2. I don't remember that stupid alien character, he is a little tougher than Duke but no where difficult for my terry bogard/ kim/ k'/ rock.
M. Bison is very tough in Street Fighter Alpha Max 3 (PSP) in the last world tour fight. Super cheap because you need to go against TWO M.Bison instead of one. They will do the psycho crusher one after another, and the special bar of them is always full! CHEATER!!!
Shin Akuma is indeed cheap in SF but not as cheapo as compared to Super Mr. Karate in SVC.
Geese Howard was tough only in Fatal Fury series.
Why no Omega Rugal in the list? Hmm... ok probably he can be easily defeated after he do his special kick. Just go behind and combo all the way. I think is the same thing for Krizalid as well. Rugal's daughter Abel is fast but very weak super special.
Magaki? Yup he is super cheating. Don't remind me of him, can't even go near if you are not using the suitable character. As compared to Orochi, he is mega bad ass.
p.s: i think only admin like Hyde, Joe, or Blue can edit.

It's really Magaki. Gill isn't really cheap. Just learn how to parry and you'll make it.

Magaki. Yes. For sure.
Rugal, Igniz, Goenitz, Zero.
Hell, let's just say "SNK bosses" because they do have goddamn SNK boss syndrome.

Rugal was a decent boss. If you're reffering to Omega Rugal then yes. Just say KOF bosses.

Dude, no. SNK bosses in general.
Geese? Krauser? Mr. Big? Young Geese? Gaoh? Amakusa?
Graaaaaah each and every one of them is a pain in the ass.

I dont' think I've had such a hard time with end bosses as I did with Guilty Gear Accent Core. That bitch with the guitar had some kind of screen attack that was hard to avoid and it raped my health bar, blocking it also did crazy amounts of damage. I ultimately stopped trying. I believe I came into the GG world a bit too late, so I have next to no skill in that game, but it was on easy, so...I just thought it was pretty ****ing cheap. She had no problem spamming that move over and over.

Ok , Gaoh I'll understand but they did fix him up in Samurai Showdown 6 along with Amakusa shiroh. Only flaw is..Gaoh's other side...
BUT. The Majority is KOF though.. So luckily this knocks off Kojiro, Kain Heinland, King Lion, Jyazu, Silber, Grant, Sissy, Rage of the Dragon's boss and uh..others.

I-No is doable.
Except in GGXX's Dizzy Storyline path. Lose once, YOU GET THE ENDING YOU ALREADY HAD. GOD DAMNIT I NEED THAT LAST ENDING TO GET JUSTICE, OH **** YOU GAME.
Ahem. I mean, yeah, she has some cheap moves, but Megalomania can be easily avoided. One, just time your double jump, the others, just stay the hell away, and go to the safe zones.

Oh goddamn you. Kain Heinlein is horrible. I had BLOCKED Sissy and the boss of Rage of the Dragons from my mind.
Rage of the Dragons boss is actually impossible, goddamn that guy.
Sissy is fun, but horrible, though.

It is true that sometimes the sub-bosses are much tougher/ trickier such as: Zero from one of the KOF series. But never Sagat. Just combo that fellow will do.

There are no modern 'combos' in SFII. I mean, there are in a way, but the trick is getting close to this guy without him uppercutting you.

I'm not talking about super combos.
For example, I can kill Sagat easily in original SF2 using Guile using the following move:-
1. Jump over hit him with a heavy hand
2. Next, while in squating position, medium/ light hand once
3. Flip quickly immediately with the special slash up kick
4. Finally, before he can even wake up, do the special glitch invinsible throw (sonic boom using combination of heavy hand and kick) again and again until he run out of energy.
5. PERFECT!

Timing dude. You gotta study his fighting pattern. Sagat difficult? Never for me. Is even much easier to KO him with Ryu since he can make opponents confuse easily.

Have you ever played SF2, you liar? :p His only pattern is to throw little energy attacks and then uppercut you when you get close. And he can uppercut at seemingly any time.
Or do you play on the easiest difficulty or something? :p

You guys are a joke in fighting games. If you don't want to play offensive, play defensive instead. When Sagat uppercut, you counter him with a heavy hand then uppercut with Ryu, or simply catch him. WTF!???

If you play defensive he doesn't approach you, he just throws Tigers at you. You can't interrupt his uppercut. You also can't 'catch' him in mid-move.
You should stop talking since you are very confused. Street Fighter II on Super Nintendo? Yes?

I was there too, luis. Arcade Sagat was annoying but it takes practice. If that dont work then whatever Rai said to everyone ;p. Also , Sagat on the SNES,GEN was about the same shit as the arcade version. Bugs and Fixes ? = BullShit.

I'm not talking about SNES version of SFII. And I'm not talking about attacking him in mid-move. You attack him before he lands down dude. Arcade version yaa dude.
There is another way to kill off Sagat. Each time just before he tiger wave, use a squat heavy kick to bring him down. You can repeat this again and again until he KO. Is kind of similar to the way you can win MK1/ MK2. This strategy takes a lot of patience though because unlike MK, it is not continuous. Yup, is all about timing and practice. You guys who sux at Sagat is just unbelievable.
Luisfe and CtV, which character do you use against him? Sagat is such a push-over and over-rated. If you use Dhalsim, at least I can understand why you got uppercut frequently. Not able to defeat him with Ryu, Ken, or Guile is just plain silly.
Cyrus the virus
07-01-2008, 10:31 AM
What are you talking about, before he lands!? Are you implying I block his uppercut in mid-air somehow? And you can't use your strategy against him because at that range, he can still (and does) uppercut you. He also doesn't approach if you crouch (as in MKII) because he can do Tigers along the ground. You don't know what you're talking about.
I typically fight him as Ken, but I also use Blanka and Guile.

Block tiger, walk, block tiger, walk, block tiger, walk, get close enough to hit him or wait for Tiger Uppercut, let him land, go nuts on him. Once you're in close, he'll either back up into a corner or you can throw him into one.

MAME and Kawaks are just the emulators. Of course it works fine ther. The deal with GGPO is that it has no input lag, and makes things playable that would be horrible on Kaillera. It's all about the netcode.
That being said, GGPO kicks more ass than Kaillera, and that's that.
