Dude, I am totally gonna watch this movie tomorrow. This movie looks funny as hell and doesnt have that annoying cocksucker Jack Black in it and by principle, anything without Jack Black sucks ass much less than anything with Jack Black in it except High Fidelity.

So, have any of you watched this? I know its a kid's movie but there is this feeling I get from Wall-E, I dont know what it is as I was never a fan of Johnny 5, I just really really really wanna watch this movie.

Wall-E is easily my most anticipated film of the summer. And after melting my goddamn brain watching The Happening last night, I only want to see Wall-E even more.

Unfortunately no early pre-showings in my area, so I'm looking forward to your impressions.

**** man, I am right in the middle of this due diligence project for some power company and I might just have to stay until late tomorrow and probably wont be able to go watch Wall-E.

Sucks ass!

It comes out on a Thursday?

Abominari

No, it comes out Friday.

Here movies premiere on thursdays. We already checked and Wall-E is indeed premiered tomorrow.

Abominari

Now when you say premiered, you mean midnight shows? Because we've got those, too.

Phakiel

No, normal schedules through the day.

Everything's hotter down south, I guess.

It looks pretty interesting. I might catch it. I still have not seen all the other movies that have come out recently. Ugh. I am so far behind.

Looks intriguing. Not sure how pumped I am to see it, but I'll probably eventually watch it. Been trying to see more movies lately, but Get Smart's before this on my list.

It shouldn't be. Get Smart is lame. It wants to throw back to the original series but it also doesn't trust itself or the source material enough to run with it, so the whole second half of the film feels like it was ripped from some conventional spy movie, with a series of occasional gags that have been market tested to death. Granted, it's a better use for your dollars than Love Guru, but you're better off at your local rental store checking out some older flick you never got to see.

I saw Get Smart. It starts out really slow and has plenty of lulz at the end. If you absolutely need an excuse to go to the theaters, see Get Smart, but Wall-E should really take priority, in my opinion.

I am saddened. I'm pretty sure Steve Carrel is just playing Michael Scott some more, but I'm so okay with that it's disgusting. Shame to hear it didn't take any risks.

As for Wall-E, I've just seen previews in the theaters. It looks visually mesmerizing and potentially heartrenching, but I don't see myself investing into it, emotionally. Which is a shame, since I'd surely enjoy it otherwise.

I'll definitely check this out.

Abominari's Verdict:

Pixar's track record remains perfect. Technically the film is amazing, better than anything that's come before; Pixar completely sell the love story; WALL-E is every bit as cute as we've expected; John Ratzenberger; the lack of dialogue through much of the film works perfectly.

Pixar have become more accomplished and exciting with each film. If they continue to improve as they have, it's scary what kinds of work we could see from them in the future. I can't ****in' wait.

My number one of the year so far, no contest. I've always had a huge boner for Pixar, so you can ignore my opinion on account of potential bias if you'd like, but I honestly believe this film is worth every minute you'll spend watching it, and then some.

And the animated short before the film totally OWNS. All of you Portal junkies will get a good chuckle out of it.

Goddamn, I hope this opens huge and brings a pair of legs long enough to ride over mountains (in the box office).

Sounds good Abom.

I went out of my way this afternoon to contact some former employees of the local theatre I know, pulled some strings and now I have access to a midnight screening of Wall-E that they weren't going to do otherwise.

w00t!

I hope everything is ok on the project we have to present today.

Same here I have to wait for this weekend. Too bad I'll be in Idaho. :(

Just came from watching it and it was awesome, one of the best animated flicks I have seen. Wall-E is awesome, Eve as well, everything in the movie is perfect even though near the end with the humans and the plant, that was a bit off, they didnt even know why they needed to get the plant there, and only John and Mary knew of Wall-E, but overall, great little flick, you should go see it tomorrow or whenever the film opens where you are.

Also yes, the short totally owns, that rabbit was the tits.

Not out yet. Saw Get Smart tonight. Carrel was the only funny part. He and Anne's ****licious face were the only two good things.

During the train part all the bald dude's one-liners were seriously getting on my nerves. Nice delivery, you fart.

My friends are all going to go see it tonight after the theater closes. I decided not to go. Might of been a bad decision after reading what everyone has posted about it in here. Oh, well.

Now one of my favorite movies.
