Just as the title states, what is the last game you beat and how do you feel about it. Was it worth the time and money?
I just beat Assassins Creed II last week and I thought it was great. It took me a while to really get into the game a lot as I really enjoyed the first one so much and this took it up a step higher. I needed a bit more time to fully understand everything that was added into the game and how more complex things could get at times. Great story and characters (especially Ezio). Ezio is a character that you really don't feel sympathy for when he is killing as he is on this revenge quest, you more or less just want to see him get to the end. I won't spoil the end if you haven't played it.
I also got through Nostalgia just a short time ago. It's okay as a DS title if you go in with some lower expectations. It's worth a go if you have a few extra bucks and need an RPG fix on the DS.

last game I beat was king of fighters 2002 unlimited match, great game I like how the they added all the characters from 99 to 2001 into the game as well as some classic bosses. so yes I tdo think it was worth both the time and money to get and complete.

That seems pretty strong Ges. What was so disappointing about it? I'm guessing it has something to do with all the promises that didn't actually pan out in the game?

Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2. It was fun just too short, way too short. Kinda disappointing since I was waiting for that game for quite some time. At least the combat was fun.
Not really the promises. It just felt off. I'm one of the few people who honest-to-goodness loved Fable 2, and Fable 3 just felt like it was missing something.
1up had something similar in their review, and I agree, it lacked its normal "charm".

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
I really liked this game, right from the opening sequence. The battle system was quite fun and at times challenging, having to use different movement strategies for different enemies. At some bosses I died easily and had to try out new strategies and materia combinations, which were a lot of fun. The story was also very interesting, however at times horribly confusing. Especially as one character had become a clone of another character and then, actually, I still don't exactly understand what was going on. The big picture however was very cool, and I was seriously moved watching the retconned ending movie.
The missions were fun at first, but since they never, ever changed form (which seemed like an easy thing to do) and there were so many of them, I only reached 28% completed. It felt like I had done a 100, however I'm not sure exactly how many. I have to admit that the rewards were often worth it and it was funner than grinding aimlessly so I can't complain too much as this is a Japanese RPG. The missions with Yuffie were quite fun as they had some sort of story at the end of each one, even if it was marginal.
Other than that I also appreciated all the different game modes through the game, and made it feel less recycled.
The graphics were like awesome like, whoa.

Just now beat Shadow Complex (360). Hadn't touched it in probably two months despite the fact that I was right at the end of it. Fun game. Couldn't really care too much about the story, but it's a lot like Metroid in that respect as well (the whole thing feels like Metroid... but on Earth).
Not sure if I would've spent the money on it, but it's on my friend's console, so I don't have to worry about that! :D Still, for a download-only game, I was surprised by its quality.
Finished Darksiders today.
Aside from two extremely annoying dungeons, it was great. By far the best Zelda since Link to the Past.
Seriously, the game just seemed to look at other games and steal all the best things about them. Not a whole lot of original going on, but it's like a hodgepodge of everything that's good about a ton of other games, most notably Zelda and God of War.

I just finished Planescape: Torment for the first time.
Where was this game all my life? As an enormous fan of Baldur's Gate, I feel like an absolute idiot for not picking it up any sooner. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I'm just sad because I'm pretty sure they will never produce a game like that again.
Tomorrow, however, I'm probably going to head out and pick up a game that was released within the past decade. Probably Mario Galaxy 2 or Red Dead Redemption.

Last game I beat was God of War 3. I enjoyed it. The game play was fun and the graphics were amazing. The level designs was also enjoyable. The last 10 minutes kinda sucked though.
Overall a great game.
