Things in our lives have a tendency to fall out of our hands completely. A lot of times things we care about a lot, too. Whether or not it just seems that way based upon our biased perception of that certain thing, it does seem that way, nonetheless.

So, how well are you able to let go of things in your life? Obviously an "I don't give a shit" attitude only gets you so far, but sometimes you are just better at letting things go. I for one find it very hard to give things up. Usually, I throw myself at things I enjoy, care about, etc. I am like this with people, too; which can make me seem somewhat smothering. Ending relationships is not a particular forte of mine.

My motto is "Don't refuse what comes and don't chase what goes."

Not always easy to live by, but simply saying it to myself helps me keep a greater perspective on the things that I don't have control over. I really think that being willing to let things go goes hand in hand with being open to new opportunities.

I'm much better at letting things go than with letting people go. I lose things all the time, although I did cry when when I lost my wedding ring, which wasn't just mine, it was my great grandmother's. Still haven't told my mom about that one, I just got a new ring that looks the same.

I've very good at letting things go. Almost to a fault. I think it comes off as uncaring at time? i'm just so used to moving around and losing friends that I'm used to it. I'm also super absent minded so if I got upset about everything I lost I'd be upset constantly.

I usually do not let things go or pass me unless I put my two cents in on the situation.
