So yeah, I know we had one of these before but a quick search didn't reveal it and why bother bumping such an old thread at this point?

So post your tattoos, people..

The Dark Mark

Which I got last May..

And then last night, I got this which some of you may be familiar with...

It's not done yet, obviously. 2 weeks and I get it finished. I'm already in love with it..

One of my friends likes to fill it in with a highlighter. I think someday I'll actually fill it in permanently.

I really like that, Evil. Is that from something I should know?

The game itself notwithstanding, a l'Cie brand might be cool.

Not like I'd ever get a tat, though.

I don't think so. It was one of the artist's random designs I found in his sample book. I wasn't actually even planning on getting a tattoo (I was there with friends), but I really liked it.

Oooooh, that'd be lovely to get. Thanks for the great idea!

I'll post mine up in a little bit.

I haven't come up with anything meaningful enough to get branded on my body yet. Although, open to ideas

Nothing new, just the three I already have. I don't have plans on getting any new ones until I hit some real physical milestones...like a 5k, 10k, half marathon, or something of that sort.
Although I consider geological things to get tattooed all the time... Like a part of the geologic time scale on my back or something like that. :)

I want to get sleeves on my right and left arm. On my right I want my favourite heroes (not just superheroes, mythological heroes, game, book, film and TV protagonists etc) and on my left I want all my favourite villains from similar media.

I envision them as a group shot like this for example:

http://www.t-shirtking.com/tshirt-images/Marvel-Comics-Group-Shot-5209.jpg
(a group shot basically)

But it would take a long time, my arms aren't that thick yet (if I decide to get the tattoos I will need them to be thicker and I will work on that) and I'm chicken.

I would also like to get one of these if I start balding in my 30's :

LOl2393A1Ew
(for those of you who don't understand what I'm showing you, it's the scalp tattoo on Fracois Sagat)

It is a little bizarre and it would take a while, but I REALLY like it.

Also <3 Bruce Labruce.

The Varsh is planning on getting this on his right arm really soon. The only modification to it is going to be the roman numeral 19 near the bottom part of the circle.

I thought this was interesting when I saw it yesterday. It's almost identical to the one that Kiryu Kazuma has from Yakuza except for one small detail. Apparently the guy who got it doesn't have much understanding of Asian languages as he seems to think he put Kanji on his tattoo when it's actually Korean. Pretty neat that SEGA actually sponsored this price tag for a fan of the Yazuka series.

I'll just link it so that it doesn't take more time to load this page.

Nice. The Ka symbol from The Dark Tower. Very cool. You should consider adding a 99 too.

The Varsh thought of that Hyde, but 19 is a special number to him. The Varsh and 19 have an interesting relationship.

At least you two were wise enough to get initials. I'm generally opposed to getting SO's names tattooed - if anything - but you can always pretend initials stand for something else.

As far as what I'd get is concerned, I don't know. I feel like I'm hitting up a quarter life crisis because I keep thinking that the Foxhound symbol, or the triforce, would be cool. Real small, some place that can be hidden on shirt, not on my lower back, ankles, etc. My mind sometimes drifts to Calvin and Hobbes, but I feel like a tattoo negates the concept of perpetual childhood.

Just don't get one of Calvin pissing on something. :p

I just couldn't stop laughing at the concept of someone getting that as a tattoo. I really hope someone hasn't, as just the decals on cars annoy me! But still, someone pissing tattooed on your skin? Yeah, that sounds like a smart decision.

I'm sure you could Google it with success.

I'd definitely disagree with that. I never saw tattoos as a sign of aging or maturity or oldness (or whatevs), just kind of a tribute to something that means something to you.

PS: Tattoo my inits on your butt.

I've been considering a tattoo for a while, but I can't decide on a location OR a design. So I'm bad at considering things!
