So do you guys like Sushi-B because sometimes he is somewhat of a little mean dude and sometimes his puns really hurt.
Just kidding, Sush is the coolest member we have and an overall awesome dude.
So, no, this thread is about sushi.
I didnt had dinner today and i am up to my second six pack of beer and just got this horrible urge for some sushi.
Funny thing, up until around november last year i didnt like sushi. I went out with this chick once and she wanted to eat sushi and i budged cuz well, if you go out with a hot chick and she wants to eat sushi, you go ahead and eat goddamn sushi. Things didnt work out between us but at least i rediscovered sushi and I am now completely won over by the rolls.
I really liked them. On that date I tried some with eel and it made me dizzy but other than that, i like it, particularly this roll with salmon and gouda cheese, ****ing kicks ass.
I also tried to learn how to use the sticks but i cant.
So what about you, do you like sushi? Can you eat it with the sticks? Favourite roll?

I have not actually 'tried' sushi before. Yeah, there is this Chinese buffet in town that has it, and I tried it there, but I really do not consider that real sushi. There are two places in town that I have been told that prepares some great sushi, but I have not really had the urge to go out and try it. Maybe one of these days I will go and drink bunches of sake with it.

Oh man, I love those crazy Chinesse Buffet places. We dont have them here so wherever I got to the states I have to go to on (and Wendy's and Starbucks, stupid franchises are not here!).
They have this insane menu. Particularly its insane in Miami. I can eat platain chips with fried shrimp rice and meat.
Now sake, I am not a big fan off. Around a month or so when my friend was visiting from California, we went to a sushi place and started ordering drinks and they gave us a japanese bomb with a glass of beer and warm sake being drop in it. It was disgusting.
Then she ordered cold sake and it wasnt that great either.

I can eat sushi, but I've never been sure how much I like it. It's like too many flavors, I can't decide whether I enjoy it or not. I know that wasabi is really interesting. I don't think I've delved enough into trying sushi to know for sure, but I've had it about a half-dozen times and enjoyed each try.
Though I'll take a GRILLED SALMON with rice on the side anytime.

About six year ago my grandfather came back from a vacation in Alaska. He pretty much fished the whole entire time considering it was mostly sunlight. When he came back, he brought home a lot of salmon meat, and we ended up grilling it. Wow. Talk about some of the best fish I have ever tasted. I can only remember one other time when all of the guys from my mom's side of the family and my father went deep sea fishing outside of Destin, Florida. We caught a lot of great fish on our trip, and we practically went back to the beach house we were staying at and ate tons of meat from the fish we had caught that day. If I can remember correctly, it was Northern Mackerel, Red Snapper, and Grouper. It was so good.

Dude, salmon kicks ass, its my favourite fish in the world. It has been a while since I have some outside of a sushi roll, might just go and buy some today and grill it.
Sushi! I die for it. Favourite food. :) I eat at least 5 times a week. Yum yum! I like salmon with cheese or avocado. Love plane tuna but really, my favourite? EEL! Unagi hehehe

I love Sushi, and I love it in all varieties. My favorite is eel and spider. I usually get it from a badass Jap restaurant by where I live. Many times me and some friends get together and just go there to eat sushi. It's like our bar.
Sushi is the shit.

Only sushi place around me is a Japanese Steak House that is run by Koreans... naturally, the sushi is pretty terrible there.

I've never had the opportunity to try sushi, but I really don't think I'd like it. There are no sushi places nearby anyway.

I like sushi, but I have a problem. I live in Utah so getting good sushi is a problem. I usually just wait until I go on vacation to the seaboard somewhere and get some. Sushi is best when it's as fresh as possible.

Goddamn right. There's really nothing like fresh Salmon.
I have it really often since we serve it at work and devour leftovers. It's not exactly fresh from the pacific or anything, but it's made very well.
It's easy to find good sushi around London and Paris!
That aside, how can you NOT like eel? :o

Met him once, He's alright but not that great.
I don't mind sushi. It's something that I can eat once a week or less but not all the time. I'm a big fan of rice, so I think that's why I can enjoy them. The fish is surprisingly good and the mix of different things such as seaweed and avacado make for a good snack.
As for Korean's making sushi. It's not too bad. Maybe not that authentic as traditional sushi, but there is another food that is similar to it so I think I could still enjoy Korean sushi.

The best sushi I hate ate was in Ueno, Japan. Highly recommended you to take a trip over there one day. Many fresh wet market there also sells sushi which is a spoilt for your choice. Not only it is fresh, but big in portion, and cheaper too! The wierdest sushi i ate there came with assorted colours (purple, yellow, orange, red, blue) of octopus eggs.
I love sushi :) I make it somtimes with my left overs. It's yummy and fun to experiment with.

I like sushi but to me it seems... I don't know, trendy?
Anyway, I'll eat pretty much anything except for spicy tuna, or anything with cream cheese in it. My standard is usually a spider roll.
But if I had to choose between getting sushi or getting ramen, ramen would probably win 9/10 times.
Ofcourse it's trendy! But I love it's a trend. It makes it easier to get.
