Deja Vu

What's your take on the whole deja vu phenomenon?

Also, feel free to describe some of the most vivid occurrences you've had.

I don't get deja vu really. The closest thing to it is when I hear/see something that I'm positive I've never heard/seen before, but upon further reflection start to think in my mind that I had. I don't know how often it really is or isn't the case, but I suspect most of the time it might just be a matter of my subconscious creating false memories to screw with me.

I get it all the time, mostly banal episodes. Like I was sitting at my boss' office and all of the sudden I got the feeling that I had been there at that exact time wearing the same clothes and sitting the same way, of course I have been at my boss' office a lot of times and I normally sit at the same chair but it was different, something extra kicked in.

I barely remembered that at that point something bad was gonna happen involving someone entering the office and saying some bad news so i quickly stopped talking and stared at her door and waited for somebody to come.

But nothing happened.

Happens to me way too much and you can think I'm insane if you want, but I believe it's because I saw it happen before it did. I do that alot. Sadly, not with anything thats important or could make me money or save lives.
