Check, check, check, check it out!
The MGS HD Collection, which is due this November, will include high-definition updates for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and the highly regarded (http://e3.gamespot.com/psp/action/metalgearsolidpeacewalker/review.html) recent PSP release, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Both the original and second Zone of the Enders will be packaged into one box for its HD Collection release, which is currently slated for 2012.

I was extremely excited when I saw "ZOE" pop up in the news. And then I realized that it's a re-release. It makes me happy to see that they haven't forgotten about ZOE altogether, but still...
I don't care about an HD remake. HD isn't gonna make the game better. If Kojima would finally start working on ZOE 3, then I'd get excited. Come ooooon, Kojima!

I love the HD remake because my family never had HD. However, I bought and HD TV for myself, and I'll gladly admit I'm a big visual person. Moreover, I've no need for a PSP but would love to play Peacemaker. YEAH!!

Okay, the Peacemaker thing I can totally understand cause you don't have a PSP. Hell, I'm excited about Monster Hunter 3rd Portable coming to PS3 even though I've played the shit out of Monster Hunter Tri just because I don't have a PSP (granted, 3rd Portable is a much-expanded version of Tri from what I know about it).
I've been waiting for ZOE 3 for so many years now v_v

ZOE 2 was one of my favorite games ever.
Yup.

I played through ZOE 2 so many times and still never managed to unlock one of the versus characters. I could not find it for the life of me.

This may entice Ges because I think he liked Peace Walker ( I seem to remember him mentioning it before).
It's pretty cool to hear this and I might check out Z.O.E again. I thought the first one wasn't bad and I've only played maybe an hour of the second. This could be the testing ground to see if the series will sell and could lead to a third game.
I'm surprised nothing else was mentioned here. It's a bit of a slow E3 for Konami this year but Kojima did show off the new game engine that his team has been working on called "Fox Engine". It seems to be what would likely be used for the future of the Metal Gear series and hopefully it will also be used for some new IPs as well.
NeverDead seems like an interesting concept for a new IP. I'm not sure totally yet, but I have a bad feeling that it might be a tough sell to gamers. I like the concept and I want to see more about it.

The first ZOE was a solid entry for the series, but ZOE 2 is really what the first was supposed to be. In my mind, at least.

I'd be more excited if I knew what systems this collection was gonna be for.

I think it said 360 and PS3 in the article, didn't it?

Gonna get just for Peace Walker. The HDing of MGS3 and 2 that have been shown in screenshots does not look all that much better, hell they even stretched the user interface.
But being able to play Peace Walker would be nice.
Still, already have copies of MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence, so the HD ports would be pretty much superfluous for me.
