...in less than 2 weeks!

I never got to play it the first time around, so this will be bought post haste.

Aug 16th on PSN is the official word.

BoF 3 is better, not a bad game but fuck that last dungeon.

Seems like a lot of people at Allrpg liked Bof III better but I pretty much think that's the worst in the series. It's been a long time since I've played that one though, but I remember disliking the characters and the annoyingly high encounter rate.

Is III even on PSN now? If not, why haven't they put that game on first and then IV?

I think IV sold more copies?

UGH SUSHI. I thought we discussed never talking about BoF 3 again. It is one of my favorite games ever.

I'm excited to see BoF 4 on PSN. I will definitely buy it since I've wanted to replay it for a few years now.

No matter all, Ershin is still one of my favourite characters of all time.

I didn't mean to bring up BoF III in a negative light, but I still managed to. Sorry.

I'm curious though as to why IV is going to be on PSN but III seems to be neglected. Is this just another weird Capcom stunt to go along with all the Megaman cancellations and single save file for the new RE game? Are the skipping it because it was released on the PSP?

I dont think its anything ominous, you are looking too much into it.

It being out on PSP might have something to do with it, I guess. Did it sell badly?

I don't think it came out on PSP in North America to be honest. I think it was only released in Japan and Europe. So that's why it is odd to me. I can't understand why they wouldn't release the third game too. More money for them, isn't it?

Huh, that's odd... I never realized it didn't come out here.

I always loved 3. I feel like it gets all the little things right, like the character and enemy sprites, the spells, the dragon gene system... I digress.

I only played 4 once and I think I was disappointed because I really really liked 3, and 4 was slightly different. So I should give it another shot. I know I didn't like the battle system because of the whole combo thing being a bit weird to me.

3 is the only game in the series that I finished. I played one on the snes... the first I think but I cant remember. Anyway 4 passed me by and I never got to play it. The game looks amazing for a PSX title and I love the art style. I really want to play this.

You better be playing this now. Skirting the "which game is better" dialogue, BoF IV has consistently great music, a battle system with good team dynamics and is simply pretty. Now in comparison to BoF III, IV's storyline maintains momentum (albeit slow momentum) throughout the game, as opposed to III's storyline stymieing after the Garr battle. The obvious standout character, should and will be Fou Lu. Everyone else is the background choir.
