I think most people have some sort of vice when it comes to sugar. I know that I do for sure and I was wondering what other people have as well.

I'm a big fan of doughnuts. I don't know why but I think it comes back from when I was a kid and I really loved this particular doughnut. It was a typical doughnut that had pink icing on it. Ever since then I loved them.

I'm really into the sugary cereals. Not as much as before but Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs were amazing. Still love chocolate, especially with some wine. The odd time I'll eat sour candy too like those glow worms, but not usually.

I'm curious what other things people like to tickle their sweet tooth with.

I eat Blueberries like popcorn.

Unlike many, I don't really like chocolate at all. I like the fruity stuff. No bittersweet, just sweet.

I've actually radically changed my diet over the past few months. All my life I had an extreme sweet tooth; it's pretty much how I was raised. Recently after doing some light research I realized that sugar is possibly even more harmful than we've realized, so I decided to give up virtually all refined sugar and even limit a lot of fruits (they're a huge gateway drug, at least for me). Since then virtually every issue I was having with my body (allergies, acid reflux, stomach pain, lethargy, and more) all vanished. It probably wasn't just the elimination of sugar, but I'm sure that was a big part of it.

Before all this, my huge weaknesses were ice cream, marshmallow fluff, nutella, and dessert-type cereals (Oreo-O's, oh my gooood). And yes, combining all of those things together was amazing (and surely a recipe for a heart attack).

These days, a peach, banana, or even an apple is an indulgence. I know how boring it sounds, but once your tastes adjust, you can appreciate the flavors of so many foods so much more, it's incredible. I can literally eat 100% unsweetened baker's chocolate without it seeming too bitter.

I'm kind of a whore for ice cream, especially Ben & Jerry's Creme Bruele... The boyfriend and I agreed that we will now only buy it when it is on sale. SO GOOD.

I'm a big fan of chocolate. Candy, cake, doughnuts, ice cream. Chocolate!

I enjoyed sweets as a kid. Than I stopped eating sweets for years. Now I enjoy a candy bar or cookies a couple times a week. But I'm going to cut back again. I always liked cookies.

I have always been fat so sweets are pretty much my life and blood.

I really like anything sweet, except those things with cocunut. I fucking hate cocunut.

I lean more towards salty than sweet. I love some chips. Mm.

What's with all the coconut hate around here? I live for coconut products. Yesterday, as a matter of fact, I cracked one open and blended it into a paste. It's really, really good, I swear.

I love coconut. I remember when I was 12 or so, I got my mom to get one from the supermarket. I feel like it took me two weeks to eat it, but I can't imagine it would keep that long... so it was probably a shorter amount of time or something. Uh. Anyway it was delicious.

I'm incredibly addicted to soft drinks especially Pepsi Throwback which is now my lifelong favorite soda. I generally drink atleast 2 liters of soda a day. I find that I prefer dark sodas, like Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper. As fart as other sweet from time to time It i'm not that into them really, but from time to time I enjoy a nice dark chocolate, the occasional apple pie, skittles, M&Ms, or assorted other hard candies like jolly ranchers or even a whorehound.

My vice is Salt. I fucking love that shit, give me a french fry thats coated in it, or a kettle cooked chip, or just a piece of lettuce hit with a couple dashes of it. Give me some soup thats been sitting in a hotwell boiling out its water content so that now its just SALT. Fuck yes I'm stoked bro.

I've never had a big sweet tooth. I get off more to chips or something salty, like Cyrus said. I rarely get a craving for sweets, but when I do, watch out.

Throwback is a reminder of how great things used to be.

There is a bakery about 15 or so miles down the road that has just about every weakness of mine covered. Rich pastry cream, Bavarian cream, whip cream and ganache fill and/or cover a variety of pasties. The donuts and fritters are light, the puff pastry buttery, and the truffles rich and smooth.

It is a good thing that it's far enough away to keep me from just wandering over whenever the whim hits me.

Coconut is awful . Its like when you accidentally get it like in a chocolate of anything, it mocks you. Its tells you "jajajaja i got you, you little prick. I know you dont like me yet here I am" and then it acts like its your fault you dont like it because its a "refined" taste.

Fuck Cocunut. You come from the beach asshole, so does sand and seawater, none of them is edible.

Wow, some serious hate on for coconut. I like some things like coconut rice and most coconut doughnuts.

Does any one else like Smarties or Skor bars? I'm talking about Smarties that are made by Nestle and sold around the world, except for the US. I loved those as a kid and still do but they are a little hard to get now.

Yeah they are ok, but what really drives me mad are pixie sticks. I recently went to my 8 year old cousin's bday party and my aunt had half of the food bar be candy and it had like loads of them and I didnt even pay attention but then my cousin brought some to the table where we were at and I was like "Holy shit, pixies sticks" and rushed to the food bad and grabbed one of each colour.

Bad thing was that since they had been laid about for a while the candy had melted and it was impossible to eat. I had to wait until I got home and used a scissor to get some sweet goodness.

Also I was a big fan os Spree. Havent seen them in year, do they still make them? I remember when I was in french classes and there was a convenience store near the institute and I used to go down there and buy a fuck load of candy during breaks. I redeveloped a NERDS addiction during those days. Man they were awesome.

I've always preferred M&Ms to Smarties. Skor is okay, I guess, but if I get a chocolate bar it tends to be a Snickers.

It used to be candy until I pretty much gave it up due to changing my diet.

Now I really enjoy fruits. Particularly grapes.

Plus the occasional Cinnabun.

I have never fully liked cinnabuns. One of the things that baffled me as a kid about the US is how they could actually have an eatery completely centered on cinnamon buns, like its the sort of pastry you once find at a friend's house and taste it and you dont hate it yet dont fully love it.

Unlike eclairs, now those fucking rule!

After skipping over to Japan again I have to add that the Oreo white chocolate bites are fantastic. That and the caramel flavoured mushrooms too. Wow, I forgot about Japanese snacks and how yummy the can be.

click away if you are curious what the packaging looks like. The oreos basically taste like a DQ Blizzard in a small bar form. The second picture was the best I could do for trying to explain the caramel mushroom cookies.
