View Full Version : PSN continues on with the love
Square has been on a roll lately with the re-releases, and this one in particular is one I've been waiting for. Chrono Cross! That game this place was originally built for and stuff.
My original CC disc got scratched and always freezes one one FMV, so I'm happy I'll get to jump back in. I won't have to erase what I've done recently since the saves will work, too.
Additionally, FFOrigins (pretty much FF1 + FF2) will be re-released on PSN as well.
Ah, Chrono Cross -- the game that brought me here all those years ago. I've really been wanting to replay that lately. Was actually listening to the soundtrack the other day (possibly the best of any game ever). I won't need to download it from PSN though -- my discs are still in pretty good shape.

I actually never played Chrono Cross. I take it it's worth it to get it on PSN?

I haven't played CC since back in 2000 just after it came out and I really couldn't stand the game at all. I don't know if over 10 years of sitting on the game could actually give me the energy and courage to play it again but I might have to mull over it.
Why hasn't Valkyrie Profile come out yet? Dragon Quest VII should be on their short list of things to do as well.

Won't get since my CC discs are in good condition. Best ps1 intro cinematic, for sure.
Not a bad idea to get in a PSN share group for it, though.

I was wishing I could play Valkyrie Profile just the other day. I kind of doubt that it will come out on the PSN store though since they have a remake of it on PSP. If only it would come to the PSN store, I'd be all over it.

I don't see how the remake on PSP is stopping them though. That came out more then 5 years ago and most people have likely forgotten about it. Putting it into a downloadable format will still likely entice people to buy it for both PS3 and PSP. Considering the fact that so many of the FF games have been shifted to every other console, they might as well bring this game back again too.
I wonder if Thousand Arms or any of the other Atlus games will ever appear on the PSN.

I was thinking about Thousand Arms recently and how much I'd like to replay it.
I'd love to see Persona 2 on there, since I've never played it and that shit is overpriced on disc.

I doubt you'll see both halfs of Persona 2 on PSN since Innocent Sin is coming out soon for the PSP. But, maybe Atlus will put Eternal Punishment up.
