Allrpg members vs. RPG characters.

In a twist of fate many of our beloved friends here at Allrpg have now found themselves mixed into various RPG worlds. They have taken over the bodies of a variety of characters throughout each game universe. Who they take over for is up to you.



Priest4hire: Citan - Xenogears. Citan has this air about him. He is extremely intelligent and a competent fighter. Yet, he feels off in a way. His mind seems to be processing far too much information at once and knows how to express himself thoughtfully while being mysterious. Reminds me of Priest in a way. If not Citan...then perhaps Garr from Breath of Fire II would fit better.


Less Than Liz: Millenia - Grandia II. I may not know much about Liz aside from a some posts like other people here do, but I can feel this wildness to her spirit and thinking. Millenia is much the same. No fear or shame of any of her actions.

Phakiel: Ronfar - Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. Wine, women and song. I don't know if there is a character that reminds me more of Phakiel.

Ges: Vyse - Skies of Arcadia. This is one that perplexes me. With little reasoning, Ges reminds me of Vyse. Maybe it's the fact that he has swooped in and continued to keep Allrpg going. He leads the ship we are sailing, just like Vyse and we are tagging along for the ride.

There are others that I can't think of because I'm tired but they will come to my mind.

How dare you dislike Breath of Fire III and then misplace Garr by putting him in II! I think you meant Spar, the green vine-grass dude from II.

I was tired and accidently forgot to type in III instead of II. Come to think of it Cyrus, you kind of remind me of either Teepo or Rei from that game. Karn comes to mind from the first game as well.


CoolOtaku: Jiro - Blue Dragon. A devoted friend, a little shy, who always stands his ground. That's the kind of person I see CoolOtaku as. Jiro took a bit of a backseat in BD but was someone always in the shadows and holding everyone together in his own way.


Luisfe: Garrus - Mass Effect. Garrus has this cool ruthlessness. He believes in law and order but is unsure of what length he needs to go for justice in the world. I personally choose to guide him to a more positive and lightened path, rather then as a renegade. Luisfe has confidence when he posts and seems very determined in his mindset. However, he shows a side of acceptance without ever being over the top. Slow to warm up in a way, as Garrus is/was. Garrus is one of my favorite characters over the course of this generation of gaming and I feel Luisfe deserves an awesome character to represent him.

This is a really good idea, Sushi.

Sushi: Citan Uzuki from Xenogears. You remind me of Citan because you measure yourself by intellect and reality. Citan was a smart fellow who knew his stuff about medicine and magic. You seem to know a lot about the subjects you take on. Citan is also responsible for many gears seen in the game, and I feel as though the RPG forum is responsible for many of the better threads that pop up here and there. Overall, you're a smart guy with a kind spirit.

There could not be a more perfect choice for Phakiel. I would actually love to see him use a Ronfar avatar now. Perhaps a name change is in order too. It's just perfect.

Yes, Phakiel. For shame. The Lunar series (I deny the existence of Dragon Song) is one of the classics of the PS era for me and I know I'm not alone in feeling that way. If you were to meet Ronfar in real life, you two would be BFFs.

I just realized Sushi compared Priest to Citan whilst in my last post I compared Sushi to the same.

Priest is Wilhelm from Xenosaga. He knows everything about everything. That, or Kraden from Golden Sun.

Cyrus is Locke from FF6. Aloof and affable, but not as over the top as Edgar. That'd be Atlas. :P

Liz is Athena from God of War. Not really RPG...but whatevs.

Sushi is Will from SaGa Frontier II. He's always out questing (playing RPGs like crazy) and not much else. But like Will no one has anything bad to say about him. Liked by everyone.

Blue may be gone from here now, but he had an avatar of Welkin from Valkyria Chronicles and I couldn't think of a more fitting character.


EDIT: Scratch what I said earlier about Liz and Cyrus. I see the whole Cyrus - Liz thang as very much like Zidane - Garnet, so I guess we'll have to go with that instead.

I only ever feel weird joking about this stuff when Liz hasn't chimed in with her input. That's when it gets real creeps-like. Though she often eventually comes around to say something and I feel silly for being concerned that she'd think I'd show up at her door one day with flowers and a ring. What a bad sentence.

I got drunk last week and bought both Skyrim and AC: Revelations even though finals are in a few weeks and I haven't finished UC3.

Wakke is a piece of shit, its the most offensive display of lack of trying from the writers of the game. How do you get a character like that? Sure he is not the worst character in the party, thats Khimari, bit I had to really bite down my hate towards him through the entire FFX game lenght, and thats when the main subplot is about how a little cunt falls in love with a ghost.

And yes, the statute of limitations has passed on that spoiler, you post in an RPG forums, the biggest rpg of 10 years ago is fair game.
