What's your biggest obsession?

Stories. Of all kinds. Narratives through video games, movies, books, long running TV shows, any of it. I collect stories. Stories are what will be here long after the rest of us have turned to dust, and so, they must be cherished and passed down. They must be cultivated, and kept, and Never EVER forgotten... When possible, they must be added to, and when that's not possible, new stories need to be written. That's my obsession. The story.

1. I've looked at porn, more frequently than people would suspect. Sometimes it just works.
2. I seriously used to suck on my big toe as a child, and had no interest what so ever to suck on my thumb.
3. I don't really think I have a third, but I suppose my fear of dying alone and fear of relationships is sort of a double-whammy I'm ashamed to even admit to myself sometimes... Like I hate being single, but I hate that initial part of a relationship, so I usually just stay away...

When I was 16, I was obsessed with my brother's friend Brandon. I'd been really sick with Pharangitis (link on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharyngitis))... My brother's friends all came over to play D&D one day, and they took a break. I climbed out of bed and socialized with them a little bit, sitting next to Brandon, flirting my A game...ha. And I sneezed... Snot flew ALL OVER HIM. ALL OVER. I freaked out, and ran to my room, locked the door, and sat on the ground with my back against the door...began crying.

Brandon came and knocked on my door, and said something like, "well look at it this way, I know you better, now that I've been covered in your snot."

Lost In Translation

Some might be curious as to why I'd choose this movie, but I can tell you why. Simply put, it's quite the boring movie. Murray did an amazing job, nonetheless. There aren't too many loud noises, so if I acquired a headache, it'd be suitable. Also, it's got some great acting. Boring, quiet, but sort of interesting... Not really even a favorite movie of mine, but I imagine after time it would thoroughly grow on me.

Kind of a random choice, really. Anyhoo --

Liz: Politics and General Intelligence.

Atlas: Also for Sheer entertainment. If they mate, we;re screwed.

I would like to die in my sleep, and the cause would preferrably be something internal like a heart attack or a stroke. Ideally, I would want it to be as swift and painless as possible. From what I hear, heart attacks are quite painful, though. My wish is to die at 11:11, I really hope it comes true. I would like to be at least 65 at the time of my passing. It would be prefered if I got more time. I want to live as long as possible (dying isn't really high on my list, unless my heart keeps on being shattered).

I chose these because I am utterly fearful of death, and the scenario that I chose seems to be the most painless way (other than ceratin forms of suicide) to die. I may be wrong. Also, 11:11 always held significance for me, since I was born at 11:11, August, 21st and it was always known as the 'wishing minute'.

Too many classes in environmental issues makes me feel uncomfortable about how much I have to drive on a daily basis...

I graduated where the time of big economy recession. It was very difficult to secure a permanent job for most of us then. I got no choice but to take up a few part-time jobs for two years just to make sure that I can make just enough to support my whole family's financial burden. It was a terrible time, no entertainment whatsoever but I think I learn a lot the meaning of never to give up no matter how bad it is. The pay cheque all sux but a lot of work to do.

Would I be able to come back afterwards? Well, here...I'll answer it both ways.

IF I could Come Back afterwards: I'd go to, say, the late 1800s to the first Bank of America(or whatever) and make a deposit of approximately 100 dollars or as much as I could afford, and set it up to accumulate interest, and then head home and go withdraw the millions that had accumulated since.

IF I had to go and stay: I'd go back to 15th Century Scotland and make a nice house in the lowlands away from the warring, near my clan. Raise a family, and live a very simple life.

hahaha, why would anyone post a secret on a message forum? I guess I could tell a psudo-secret/lie i told then never fessed up to. The first time I ever got drunk was in 9th grade off 4 sips of different liquor straight out of the bottle(raided my friend's parent's bar while they were out of town). I had told the people I was with I had gotten drunk tons of times but i totally lied and i kinda think they figured it out.

I would do whatever I could for my niece. She had a stroke in utero and lost 40% of her brain. She's two and still can't walk, but she's improving. She doesn't make great use of the right side of her body and it kills me to see all the other kids running and playing and she has to be off by herself. At least she always seems happy. I would do anything to help her learn to walk and run earlier.

After some anger and bitterness, not particularly because I care much about her but because as an incredibly narcissistic and egotistical person, I couldnt cope with that rejection that well, i eventually became a more cynical person towards reltionship and am not particularly pursuing a relationship now even if I find a nice girl. It scares me because my desensitization may lead me to one of those cheating assholes women always complain about.

our big family scandle is that my uncle, who is 37, married a 20 year old with a kid. Then then had another kid and she's pregnant again. The thing is at family gatherings we always have an adult table and a kids table. All the "kids" were 19-22 so when mu uncle married a 20 yearo ld we couldn't decide if we should put her at the kids or adult table. It was awkward.

Yes I respect my parents. I used to have a shaky relationship with Mom until a couple of years ago, then she got diagnosed with cancer. Being ill changes everything for me... My Mom would purposefully seek out fights with me over nothing (I was always having an "attitude" about something...and usually she was making it up...blah. Because of the way I happened to set something down, or close something, or turn around to put something away...yeah. annoying). At any rate. Yes I respect them.

I drink bottled. I grew up in the sticks and had spring water, now where I live we have city/tap/chlorinated water, and I hate it, so I buy bottled water, usually Dasani, or store brand when I'm broke.

Yes. My parents determined I was crazy when I was in high school, so they made me see a shrink and also shoved antidepressants down my throat. Bad times. I was actually on suicide watch at one point, I was 17. It lasted for about 2 weeks. I didn't want to kill myself, but I just hated my life back then...and it didn't help that when I'd look to my parents for some form of comfort they deemed I was crazy. Great helping there, guys. :p Also, it didn't really help... I had to come out of the hole on my own!
