Just saw this on n4g.com. If it's true I'd have to say it's about damn time. I would've liked to see what Suikoden could do on a next gen system, but I'll take it anyway they wanna give it.

Fellow Suiko-nuts, feel free to comment.

It's been rumor-announced for every other console besides the 360. I really doubt it.

I'd really rather see it on a non-handheld console, any of the three out now, but I guess I'll take what I can get.

Hopefully, for poor bastards like me, they will multi-platform it. When I do go next-gen(yes I know that all 3 have been out for awhile), I am probably sticking with Sony. I have owned the PS1 and PS2. If I am still alive then, I will probably own the PS10K, heh

I don't care what it comes out for, I'll buy it. But I'd much prefer a console version, since handheld RPGs don't feel the same at all to me.

I think it should go to PS3 since everyone should have one by now for MGS4. It wouldn't feel as epic on a tiny screen.

Tiny screen or not, if they went back to the animated sprites, and made it look as good as the FF1+2 remakes for PSP it's be badass.

I would not mind them using the older style of graphics. However, I really do not care. As long as the graphics and detail are not what they focus on in the game the most, I am going to be excited either way. I really need to find a copy of Suikoden V. Unfortunately, I have not played it yet, and it absolutely kills me. I might just have to order it online.

You really should, I enjoyed that one almost as much as I enjoyed II.

Wow, that is saying a lot right there. I am very interested in the story, but I think I need to probably catch up on the whole story of Suikoden before I play it so I can catch a few things here and there in V. It has been a while since I have touched that series.

I think I'd rather see it go to the PS3, and this is coming from someone who owns neither a PS3 nor a PSP.

You don't need prior knowledge to play V. You'll remember any characters you encounter (Viki).

Just play the damn thing you dorkface. I clocked in over 200 hours of that game.

Damn. O.O

Hey, so, is there any way to make V better? Because I'm pretty bored right now. =[

You could

A) Develop taste

B) Not be a silly bitch

C) Value storyline over flashy boom-boom effects

D) Throw confetti on it

And I don't know what you people are on about, V was a great game.

Yes V was a great game but I rather see it go on the PS3 than the PSP

No matter what you may post on these threads, I will always think of you fondly for that post, LMAO

I'm bored because the story is going nowhere... and I probably have more taste than you could ever have, so that's a moot point.

It's not nearly as engaging as SI, II, or III.. i.e. big things happened fast, not take 18 hours before things actually start moving. Took ****ing forever to get the Dawn Rune, too.

Also, what is up with the soundtrack? I miss SI's composer... true acoustic music with synth that was so close to the real thing it was scary. Such a beautiful soundtrack in the first game.

V is easily better than 1 and 3, though I love both. It's probably almost as good as 2. Your taste is garbage. You don't like beautiful women, after all (LOL THIS IS A JOKE).

And this makes me think your opinion sucks anyway:

"I'm bored because the story is going nowhere..."

I don't even understand that. How could you possibly guess this?

I thought it had easily one of the best story lines of any in this series. (second only to two)

At first though, I did think it drug just a little bit, but once it really started moving, it was wonderful, and I enjoyed it so much, I played through it again immediately after finishing it the first time. In fact, all this talking is really making me want to check it out again, if I can ever get time on my own tv.

That's pretty much exactly what I did. It did kind of drag in the beginning, but I appreciated that later. Mostly because I tend to ignore minute details that I was forced to learn in that game. Names of NPCs and things like that.

I miss my Suikoden V disk. I wish the price would drop.
