What are some of your negative habits?
I tend to pick my nails a lot. Often the skin around as well. I don't know why but since I was young I have done it. It's a pretty bad habit that I need to break but when I'm bored, I tend to do it.
One habit that I seemed to have broken is constantly touching my hair when I was thinking. I would run my hand in my hair and scratch my head (maybe it was lice? :p) when I was posed with a serious question. It doesn't happen too often now though.
Finally, I'm a little too obsessive about order at times. I like to have things arranged in a particular way, even if it looks like it's a mess. I get bothered when someone else moves my belongings or displaces something.

I bite my nails and also the tip of my fingers. I think i developed this thing for being a very nervous kid. Its not only that I occasionally bite them, its that, well i basically have the area around the nail all bitten off, its not that noticeable usually but whe I come into contact with water for an extended period of time like in a shower or pool all my fingers look white from all the skin I have eaten it. And its something I do uncounciously, I just start and before I realize it I am actually bleeding from having bitten a big chunk of it.
I am allergic to dust, pollen and sudden weather or conditions change, this last thing means that even if I go from outside to a place with AC I will be a bit affected. So I am constantly blowing my nose and sometimes I have no kleenex to hold it so i just do it in my hand when its gotten pretty bad or clothes which is a terrible habit, but if you have allergies you kown most of the time you dont care about anything else but getting rid of your sinus.

One of my worst might just be my inability to focus. Probably full-on ADHD or whatever at this point. Like, I didn't used to think it was a huge problem before, but I'm really aware of it now. If someone's talking to be about something even the slightest bit uninteresting, my brain might as well have shut down.
And if you want to call it a bad habit, I'm terrible at socializing. At least, I can be very sociable at times, but it's extremely conditional.

Oh, if I'm bored? I will fall asleep. This is a huge problem in my binary economics class. I'm going to try out one of those huge-ass Amp drink next class.
This isn't really a bad habit but as long as we're talking about problems focusing...

I guess procrastination is a bad habit. Sometimes I spend so much time procrastinating i barely do anything while at work, so I have to do things off the clock.

I don't bite my nails, but I pick at the hangnails and any small skin bits that are lose around the nail. It sucks when you unknowingly bite one off and then realize you just had your finger in your damned mouth again. Fuckin' eh...
Other than that, I'm not sure I have any habits people would consider bad anymore. I used to binge eat and boredom eat, but I've curbed myself of both of those habits. Now instead I distract my mind from food or just go on a walk instead.

Binge eating is a bitch... It always came for me when I would be doing really well on losing weight, and then I'm like "Oh, I can justify eating this ENTIRE CHEESECAKE because I've been SO GOOD lately!" And then I would finish it, and hate myself.
I got sick twice at the end of last year (colds), and then I got an intestinal infection this year, so all of that, combined with general laziness had me pack back on about 10 1/2 pounds of what I had worked hard to lose before last year. But just over the last few weeks I've managed to drop another 3 1/2 of that... Going to get past that and THEN SOME. :)

I actually had a bit of a binge eating problem when I was trying to give up sugar last year. I didn't have the greatest relationship with food to start with, and when I severely limited my sugar intake (no added sugar, little to no fruit), I experienced withdrawal like a motherfucker, and had a few painful slipups. I felt like a junkie; I basically was. But I got through it and I'm so much better off because of it. Haven't craved a sugary treat since like August. Oh, and I'm able to appreciate real flavors for the first time too. I swear sugar is basically a drug, it numbs your senses and makes you hungry for more all the goddamn time.
I now have an amazing appreciation for anyone fighting any full blown addiction, because what I went through was disturbingly intense.

I will never give up fruit. I'd be abandoning a good third of my diet if I did haha. At this point though, I have almost entirely given up candy and cake and other such sweets. I always feel like junk now if I eat more than, say, one Kit Kat bar (out of the four in a normal pack). Even if I drink a full soda, I start to feel sick.

Oh, I've added fruit back in, before it was just a cold turkey kinda deal. Before, having a banana would drive me to dig into the ice cream and candy. Not even kidding. Now it's not a problem so I have it fairly regularly. Fruit, I mean.

Yeah exactly. Like I normally try to starve meself monday through friday, it helps living alone and on a tight budget so I dont go off and spend money on groceries, but suddenly I get the itch like well I didnt have any dinner last week, so might as well eat a little bit of cheese and chips and then follow up with the normal fast the following week.
So there I am eating a whole plate of string cheese and platain chips and sour cream and a liter of juice while watching Coupling on netflix, then wake up and really feel the drag of all the fat I gained.
EDIT: oh and last night I followed with half a pound of m&ms, I was feeling like utter shit and I just swallowed the damn thing whole, then was like holy shit, that wasnt supposed to happen. I seriously need to get laid.

Pseudophedrine works miracles for sinus problems.

I bite my nails, procrastinate, find it hard to keep up conversations, and drink too much. My life's a mess! :(

I like to stay up late and sleep in, bite my nails, and clear my throat obnoxiously more then I should.
Completely opposite to binge eating I tend to go days (or at my worst a period of months) with little to no appetite causing me to eat very little whatsoever because I just wasn't hungry. It also doesn't help that I often lose my appetite quickly working at a restaurant

I'm starting to feel pretty proud of myself for being able to stop biting my nails when I was a kid. I hated that habit.

I sniffle a lot. Blowing my nose helps for about two minutes. I don't even need to be sick, because dust, cats, dogs, perfume/cologne, hairspray or anything with any kind of strong scent, really, will set it off. I haven't had both nostrils clear in... 20 years? I never know if it's normal to have one nostril blocked 100% of the time.
I get really cranky at work depending on how tired or frustrated I am, too.
