Who will play Grandia with us this month? I have it downloaded and will probably play a little bit, tonight.

I remember that this game starts a bit slow, but it is very good. So I'm excited to get back into it.

I am!

I think. But I may start until the second week of april. Easter break is coming and I may just end up getting completely hammered at whatever place I cand find.

My wifi is screwy in my room, so I gotta lug the PS3 upstairs to download, but I'll start tonight, too.

*sigh* I thought I might actually get to participate in one of these for once.

At least let me know what you guys think of it as you play. I never got the chance to try it myself.

Find a way!!

Phak, suck my balls. I get hammered more than you, I promise. Prioritize! A) Drink, B) Grandia, C) Work/stuff.

Good luck to those of you playing. I've already mentioned that I recently played the game about 6 months ago so I'm kind of not up for it. If Grandia II some how manages to succeed this though, I'm 100% in for that. Keep the status rolling as I'm excited to see some opinions on the game.

I know I burned a copy for my modded PS1 a long time ago (never played it) but I have no idea where it is, and I might not still have it. I think I'll have to pass.

So, Cyrus. These voices are atrocious.

Game is fun thus far, though. I think the way the did the select-button map is genius. Only about an hour in, just finished the scavenger hunt.

I would play, but I have other games to complete and a life. I love Grandia. Top 5 for me.

I've hardly played, but yes the voices. Oh god. I can't stand the camera angles, either, but I think I mentioned that. Also there are too many similar colors in the first city that hurt my eyes and sort of confuse me because I'm getting old.

But I know it's a great game, so yeah. Kind of disappointed nobody else is going to play.

I'll gift the first person to want it a copy through PSN.

I'm generous and shizz. (Also, I just got a bonus at work. Still hate the place, though)

I'm playing. I've just dabbled a tad, but I'll get into it properly later on today. It's been quite a while since I played it last, as in since it was released, so it's rather cool to go back and play it again.

I started replaying it again recently, still has probably the best beginning section of any RPG. Shame the game itself falls apart after shifting to Disc 2...

Where the heck have you been, HDS?

Where the heck have you been, HDS?

Besides moving to Kansas, and finally getting a nice new compy...becoming one with the intarnet. D:

Well, that and also playing a shitton of games. Now that I can actually run firefox alongside everything else, I can appear again from my mountain cave. I shouldn't be poofle-ing any more. :B

Just have to say, I had a total "O-O" face going on when I checked the new posts and I saw "Aquasol" listed all over the place. Can't believe it's you, man! Welcome back! :D

Holy Dragon Sword right?

I remember you, but I don't really remember you. It's been way too long. Welcome back.

Yeah, that'd be me. I like how I accidentally turned this into a return thread, so uhhh...

How 'bout that Luc Village? Most beautiful town theme to ever exist? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOHZpbO01-Q)

Played a few hours more tonight and passed through the Sult Ruins and then went back to Parm. I was worried every area would have a "I haven't aged well" vibe, but as soon as I opened that Spirit Stone door, everything starting looking better. Hope it continues getting better, because you guys are totally right about the slow start.

EVERY time I hear music from this game it makes me want to go back and replay it. One of my favorites of all time period.

Don't let the slow start get to you Ges, once you meet a few interesting characters (read as Feena) you'll fall in love.

Also, I've always loved the image of the game that is posted on the home page. It's my PS3's wallpaper! The HD version you can download for free looks amazing.

So, my computer is acting up with my emulator so I cannot play this. Let me see if I can get someone to have PSN card sent over from amazon and then email the code to me so I can get funds and buy it because I tried to start it and was in love with the intro movie all over again. Its a pretty one. Not Wild Arms/Suikoden 3 pretty but its cuter.

I can help out with the emulator problems if you're having trouble unless you've given up by now. I can't really blame you too much though, they can put your nerves behind the 8-ball quick!

I'm actually still playing this in between Xeno and Skies of Arcadia. Kinda mad I missed it when it came out. It hasn't aged well (what PS1 era game has?) but it's still playable and fun.

I made it to disc 2 on this one and then didn't finish it. I hated myself for not finishing Skies of Arcadia, I didn't get very far in that at all and I know I missed out on a good storyline. Xenogears I have beaten a couple of times. That one is awesome. Makes me miss the old Squaresoft days. I don't know what the hell their problem is now.
