You can choose more than one option in this poll question.

I've played and completed the following versions of FFIV:-

1. FFIV Hardtype (Japanese) (Super Famicom)
2. FFIV Easytype (Super Famicom)
3. FFII (North America) (SNES)
4. FFIV (PS1)

I consider this the best game of all time but I haven't played the wonderswan one or easytype. No need to play the WSC one at all. The easytype I might if I feel like it.

Although I own 2 different versions of the game, I've not beaten either of them. The closest I've come was on the GBA.

No Wonderswan love Borg? I suppose you and the rest of the world. :P

FFII (North America) (SNES)
FFIV (PS1)
FFIV (Game Boy Advance)

Original's probably the best one, though Advance added some things I like.

The original is my favorite game of all time.

The storyline was great and it really hit me when I was little. All the sacrifice and heroism. All the emotion.

The gameplay consists of unique classes instead of cheap everyone-gets-everything stuff. FF4 DS is going to be much harder and should prove to be my new favorite game of all time in 1 months time.

I've never beat this game either, and the only version I've ever played was the Playstation version. No wait, I also have the GBA version, but didn't really play it much. It always seemed like a really good game, I don't know why I never finished it.

Hah! I'm not the only one who beat the GBA game.

The FFII for SNES and FFIV for FF Chronicles. Much preferred the latter, despite being slower. New translation + harder difficulty + added cutscenes was a win.

I remember I used to frequent my friend's house to play FFIV almost everyday after school coz he is the only one among us who owns a Super Famicom. We don't understand a jack shit of the Japs but still it was interesting to the max coz we will share our points of views and theories on what happen in the scenes/ plots.

Well, I never had the chance to own a Super Nintendo, so I believe the ROM I had was Final Fantasy IV (Jap) translated. I think that is the one because back when I was playing it, I would always have to correct people that it is not the second Final Fantasy, it is the fourth of the series. I still do that to this day. I also own and have played and beaten the one in Chronicles, and I have finished Final Fantasy IV Advance several times.

I own the SNES version and Final Fantasy Chronicles version, so I've completed both of those.
