Infraction system in new AllRPG forum

Along with the new upgrade also included is the infraction system. This will be the new forums rules violation system. This system has automatic ban set into it.

Most infractions have a 5 point penalty. If you are in violation a mod or admin will give you an infraction right from the post. You will receive a pm if your pm's are on if they are not you will not receive notice.These infractions are kept track of and expire in a reasonable amount of time. Except for nonsponsor selling,p.o.r.n and spam these are permanant. The first ban is at 10 points the last and permanent is 100.

Complaining about site Moderation 10 points -- Expires in 3 days unless the same violation is received in those 3 days.

Porn is an automatic 50 points.

Non-sponsor selling is 40 points.

Spam is 100.

The forum moderation staffs of <insert name of forum site here> reserves the rights to suspend and remove (ban) memberships at any time.


Folks. Do you realize that new AllRPG already implemented an infraction system for the forum? What I quote above is an example from another forum site.

What's your opinion/ feedback on this matter? How do you think new AllRPG forum should implement this new infraction system?

1st offense: A PM from a mod or admin about it basically telling them that this is their first offense.

2nd: Their signature rights get taken.

3rd: Their av gets taken.

4th: They get put in miserable for a while.

5th: They get temp banned.

6th: They get perma banned.


Blue may have updated, but I doubt it.

This system is pretty handy; I've used it before. I believe you can set it to automatically create a post in the mod forum when an infraction or warning is given, and it may also automatically send a PM to the person receiving the infraction. Infractions are also visable in a user's profile by those who are given permission to do so (mods/admins).

But.

Well, it probably meant bashing. As I am sure no worthy site is arrogant enough to not let it's members share their complaints with civility.

We have an infraction system of some sort. Every forum should have a clearly defined one.

1. Slow response (time delay) on every page (20 to 60 seconds default).
2. A chance they will get the "server busy" message (50% by default).
3. A chance that no search facilities will be available (75% by default).
4. A chance they will get redirected to another preset page (25% & homepage by default).
5. A chance they will simply get a blank page (25% by default).
6. Post flood limit increased by a defined factor (10 times by default).
7. If they get past all this okay, then they will be served up their proper page.

Among other things.
