Games Question

My son is asking for Battlefield: Bad Comany and Death Jr The Root of All Evil for his birthday, Has anyone here tried any of these games, and what are your opinions on them? They are so expensive, I hate to buy something he won't like, so I figured I'd come beg people here for impressions.

I have read that Battlefield has some dodgy multiplayer system.

Have heard nothing about Death Jr.

Death Jr for Wii? Glitchy to say the least but its fun.
