Just a line or two, not the whole lyrics of a song will do. You can put up for more than one song if you wish, sharing is caring eh. Also, hell ya, this thread could go on forever!
I'll start. Read my sig.
I'm a big fan of She Wants Revenge and the line from the song "Written in Blood"
"You taste like tear stains and 'could-have-beens'....But I love a good Train Wreck.
Your hair balled up inside my fist, you told me 'Don't Get too attached' like this is just entertainment."

I really like the part in Bed of Roses where he goes "I laughed so hard I think I died". It just sounds very poignant, or something. I can't explain it.
I'll be back in this thread in the future, because I'm a bit of a fanatic over this kind of thing.
Another from She Wants Revenge, since that's what I'm listening to at the moment...
From the song "True Romance"...
"I know that you never Loved me
I know that you never cared at all
No My love, we can't be friends
In Fact, I liked you much better
When you'd just pretend."

that's... kinda emo, hyde. never pegged you as the type.
my favorite lyrics are from Social Distortion's Angel's Wings. great song. uplifting.
You say you're down on your luck
hey baby, its a long, long way up
hold back now, hold back your fears
you say you're really down and out
and you feel like there's no way out now
let go now let go of your tears some more
yet, it's still punk.
She Wants Revenge isn't quite emo....more of...oldschool Goth Rock in a new form. They're a modern day Joy Division. But no, I'm not emo....just like all kinds of music and these guys are good.

Right now I am gonna go with Marry Me by Emilie Autumn because is one of the weirdest, most ****ed up songs I have ever heard, and its also funny, or maybe I am messed up.
Marry me, he said, god, he?s ugly, but fortune is ours
Running in the gardens enjoying men, women, and flowers
Then I break a glass and I slit my own innermost thigh
So that I can pretend that I?m menstru...well, unavailable
My life is arranged but this union?s deranged
So I?ll **** who I choose for I?ve nothing to lose
And when master?s displeased I?ll be down on my knees again

I would have to say the most profound thing I have heard in music thus far is this:
"Lucky that my breasts are small and humble
So you don't confuse them with mountains"
Shakira - Whenever, Wherever
I just do not even know what to say but amazing.

Live to win... till you die.
-Paul Stanley
Jonathan Davis, "Careless" from Alone, I Play
"You Recognize the Beating of my Careless, Selfish Heart
You're Chasing me 'cuz I'm too close, Scared of what, I can start...."

I love you.
Mine:
The Eagles - Hotel California
Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said "we are all just prisoners here, of our own device."
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast

...Just kidding. I do love my Mars Volta though. And their lyrics are pretty much always that bizarre.
Here are some good ones:
Idlewild - El Capitan:
By the harbor I harbor the strangest memories
Older than I could ever be
Stranded in nostalgia...
Porcupine Tree - Stranger By The Minute:
When I'm drowning
You drag me up to you
Rings in the water
My only residue
But you're just fiction
And I'm a twisted boy

Hero - Mariah C
When you feel like hope is gone,
look inside you and be strong.
And you finally see the truth, that the hero lies in you.

Now most folks suffer in sorrow thinking they're just no good. They don't match the magazine model as close as they think they should. They live just like the "paint by numbers." The teacher would be impressed. A life-time of follow the lines so it's just like all of the rest.

I will share with you now two excerpts from the greatest lyrical songs of our age.
Lock up your daughter, lock up your wife, lock up your back dooor and run for your life
and
Coz' Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda. My anaconda don't want none, if you ain't got buns, hun
Enough said;)

Another amazing line that moves me:
"Is that yo ass, or yo momma half reindeer?" Shake Ya Tailfeather by Nelly, P. Diddy, and Murphey Lee
Now that is some crunk shit.

They'll stone you when you're at the breakfast table
They'll stone you when you are young and able
They'll stone you when you're tryin' to make a buck
They'll stone you and then say "Good luck."
Yeah, but I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned.

"I know you think you're deep alright, but you should stay at the shallow end." - Shallow End, Superchunk. Seriously. That used to be my title on my LJ... (Now it's a line from Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins.)
