Thread's expiry date?

I don't see the staffs ever archived any threads eventhough is like months or even years long previously at the old site.

So, does a thread ever expire here in AllRPG? If yes, exactly how long the lifespan of a thread?

Well, it goes until it gets archived, I believe. There seems to be nothing in the archives mainly because the site is so new.
