How to play? All you need to do is post a Country, City, Town, or State etc., beginning with the last letter of that in the previous post. Then explain your choice. The objective of this game is to go around the world in words to understand the different culture, basic information, and etc. about the Country, City, Town, or State.

For example:-

Poster 1: Pusan - A popular port/ city in South Korea.

Poster 2: Nicaragua - The country's name is derived from Nicarao, the name of the Nahuatl-speaking tribe which inhabited the shores of Lago de Nicaragua before the Spanish.

Ok? You're up next.

(I'm guessing the letter "A" is gonna get well represented in this thread)

Korea is a pennisula in Asia. It's been carved into 2 seperate countries since 1945 and has remained seperated at the 38th parallel to this day. Unification may happen, but it could take another number of years before it could ever happen.

Antarctica - occupies approximately 9% of the world's land surface. In a very recent finding, key evidence were found to support a theory that parts of the southernmost continent once were connected to North America hundreds of millions of years ago!

New York - Largest city of the United States and one of the most populous in the world, located in the Northeastern seaboard bordering the Atlantic Ocean. Home to oh-so-many landmarks, nearly every language on earth can be heard on it's street due to some third of its residents being foreign-born. As one of the three 'command centers' of the world economy, it counts with a GDP that hovers around a trillion dollars, second only to Tokyo.

Turkey almost beat Brazil in the recent World Cup. The Brazilians were over-confident and only got a 1-0 victory. Turkey did it again in the recent Euro 2008 semis and almost defeated Germany. The Germans were f**king lucky with the 90 minutes goal. Go Turkey! The super underdog!

Ulu Klang - a famous place in KL where visitors queue up for crabs in seafood restaurants. If you plan to eat your crabs here while you are in Malaysia, please be aware that the spelling of this place sometimes may confuse outsiders because sometimes the locals may refer it as Ulu Kelang, Hulu Kelang, or even Hulu Klang. They are the same but merely differed by spellings. The crabs? Make no mistake, superlicious of course!
