Since we don't have a creative corner yet, I figured I'd post it here until one is made where it can be moved to.

Post any artwork of yours here. Constructive critisism is welcome.

I don't draw, I take pictures and consider myself a highly amateur nature photographer... I'll share if people consider that "artwork."

I have about over 150 black and white doodles. All of them consist of completely random shit. I do not think when I draw things down, so I just pretty much let my pen and hand do all the work. If I screw up, I will just take the mistake and make something out of it. I try not to spend more than thirty to two hours on one. I am currently working on one at work that will have a color in it. Ohhh, jeez.

Here is a simple one I did about a year ago:

I have a lot of paintings and digital art work, but I really do not feel like uploading that right now.

Oh and to Blackdragon. I love the Rurouni Kenshin drawings. I will always have a soft spot for that anime.

Good stuff AngelofSorrow. I love the first one.

I wish I could draw like the both of you. I suppose it takes time and practice.

Yeah, pretty good stuff AoS. I love that mech one, that must've took quite some time.
Meph, that's some pretty good abstract art. I wish I could just pull something from my imagination and make it.

thank you very much. yeah 4 years of art in high school. it was all from the help of my old art teacher. haha she knocked my head off everytime I screwed up on something. so I stoped screwing up so much. :p

but no I like to draw in my freetime...I just wish I had more time to sit down and doodle a few things. last thing I was working on was a tattoo for a buddy. Jesus on an Anchor.

Atlas

Tattoos are sweet and you can make good $$ if you're good enough.

Mark
06-11-2008, 07:31 PM
I wouldn't feel right being a tattoo artist. but I will draw tattoo up for friends and family if they ask me to. I just need time to do it. haha

I haven't even finished mine up yet...I keep on changing what I want for my tats...but I refuse to have something that someone else drew up on my body...my body so only my artwork. I dont care if they trace it, as long as its mine to begin with.

Thanks, and yeah, the Gundam one took quite a bit and 99% with pen, too. I used pencil for slight shading, so I assure you it wasn't that easy either. Anyways, few more I suppose.

Now these ones I didn't actually draw. I just did the color work on them with photoshop, back when I still had it atleast. Thats what I usually do now though, color, Im no longer any good at drawing.

Here is the one I was working on at work yesterday. I used a regular ballpoint pen, and some girl gave me a fine point permanent pen/marker, so I used that for coloring. Dunno. Just a bunch of random shit.

Have you tried using a guide or something?

Photoshop can help a lot with drawing but first you should get one of those pen tablets for your computer. But you can do it with a mouse I guess. It just wont be as steady.
