The series has always been known to have long cutscenes and I always enjoyed them. MGS4 is my favorite of the series. Its a short game but so is MGS1 and thats what made it so replayable for me.

As a fan of the Xeno series Im surprised that long cutscenes would be a problem for you.

Dude its one thing how they were before 4 but during it was worse, and the gameplay was minimum and I didnt even like it that much either. Xeno had long scenes but besides maybe in second disc xenogears it never got as boring as MG4-

I havent watched it but I guarantee you it cant be worse than the King of Fighters movie. Now that, was bad. I think it was the worse videogame movie since...actually it might just be the worse. yes even worse than SMB and Street Figthers,at least were so bad they were funny, but KoF has absolutely nothing going on for it.

Yeah the live action one. It's just kind of boring and weird. Like everything cool about the Tekken series is watered down and they gave the most obnoxious people the most screen time. I think Christie's ass had more screen time than Heihachi. Granted, it was quite a nice ass, but come on.

I saw a preview for KoF and I though "OMG what is this shit?" I didn't even know it had come out yet. Everything just looked so super silly and ridiculous. I don't know if I should let my curiosity get the better of me this time.

Not sure the correlation between what you're asking me and the SA thread but I can expound a little bit if you don't mind.

The concept of "Private Property" in Marxist terms is largely relegated to capital and the means of producing profit through the common. Oil, agriculture, minerals, iron, etc. These are "common" and natural resources that man requires to live and ultimately advance. These fields often tend to employ drastically larger amounts of the proletariat so particular care is taken to ensure that capital doesn't benefit disproportionately over the work of the masses.

There are different theories that take the concept different ways, but ultimately its a method for protecting the common and protecting the workers from the political power that one gains from merely being the owner of capital. The concept is extended to things like housing. Housing is a requirement for the health of a person. If land is common and can't be privatized, then the housing built on it stands to the same. Radical Leninists like Alexandra Kollontai even extended this idea to the family structure.

Finance is not the solution. Or not the ideal solution for everyone. Example, well, current issues we're seeing where small time investors are being bilked to the tune of untold millions of dollars. The banking system is distinct from typical notions of "Capital" though it certainly retains most of it's identifiers. Plus some even nastier habits as their primary method of generating wealth is through rent.

Private Property and Personal Property are distinct. Semantically they may not be, and in those regards, I'd agree. Regardless, Private Property is the notion of owning the means of production and the power that this provides you. Privatizing the common, necessary, elements for society. Personal property means your car, your television, your toaster oven, your mattress, etc. There's no method of gaining and retaining power through ownership and use of these items.

Ultimately the distinction here is that, yes, you are correct in a specific manner. The goal of the classless society is that the workers and the owners are one in the same. The owner would work the machine as the employees do. The method would be to deny capital/bourgeois society their suffrage and then deny them what provides them their privileged place in society.

So ok, I got really hungry tonight and decided to instead of getting some crap from Mickey ds or a pizza I would go and get some nice ham and cheese and make myself a nice sanwhich and that way have some food for the weekend and on and also get some stuff for the house like toilet paper and paper towels. As any responsible adult wannabe I have a little notepad for groceries and I write down what I need to buy and during the market runs I write what I get. As I walk into the market I write down "Ham, cheese, bread, toilet paper et al".

Long story short, I bought a lot of crap I wasnt intending to, like 3 different types of cheese, 2 hams, chocolate, oreos, doritos and cheese and not ONE FUCKING SINGLE LOAF OF BREAD!

To add insult to injury I thought I had like 100 bucks for this weekend and turns out I have 11 bucks left which means I will not be able to get completely wasted tomorrow like I wanted to because fucking 30th of the month is ntil monday.

Fuck my motherfucking life and my irresponsible spending.
