Just to avoid Atlas' next thread saying "I hooked up with my neighbor, and it was great. I guess you can post about your hook ups too." I am creating this thread, where everyone can talk about who they hooked up with. Ex-girlfriends/boyfriends, one nighters, milfs and dilfs. And let us not forget te Starbucks industry. Whoever you did, post about it here.

Anyway, I haven't hooked up with anyone since I broke things off with that one milf. Though, I have been occasionally going out with a born again christian girl (I brought her up in another thread). Also, I was with a friend at a pub, abusing their Wing Wednesday, and met a few girls there. One of them ended up giving me her phone number. Interestingly, she's a massage therapist.

There's also a girl at work. Her family moved here when she was very young, but she's from New Brunswick, which interests me since I've lived most of my life there. We talk about NB quite a bit, and flirt quite a bit more. Unfortunately she has a boyfriend, so I probably won't go there. Though, she's very cool, and if anything did happen, I'd probably want to see her seriously.

There's another girl at work as well, but she's too young. I'll save her for Karsh.

What are we stating as hooking up? Short courtship, making out, one night stands or multiple sexual encounters with the same person over a short period of time?

Yeah.

I'm kind of confused about what you mean by 'hooking up'.

I'm not allowed to hook up anymore.

Oh here we go again.

I know you're all nerds but there must be something more eventful in your life than meeting a woman.

If you or I were to hook up with a woman, i think it'd be a very big event to these guys. :P

Not really although this is England and most 13 year olds are wider than the amazon and probably pregnant with the 3rd nipper.

I didn't feel pressure, but I did feel weird, being the only one of my group who didn't have sex til after high school.

*pats on the back*

It will be okay. :)

Anyway, I broke up with my girlfriend about little over a week ago. I am really not trying to find a person right now, and it just does not interest me that much to be in a relationship. There are a few girls at work I would consider dating in the future, though.

Aww sorry about the breakup! *hugs*

I felt no social pressure to lose my virginity. I wanted to bump uglies before my boyfriend did. My parents never really taught me to look at sex with awe or reverence or fear. I'm not sure if thats a good thing or not. All I know is I dooze it cuz I likes it.

All of the above.

I think it's because so many of them haven't had sex yet, so they naturally put sex on a pedestal.

I totally don't put it on a pedestal. I suck at it, and I know it.

I don't get why discussing women means we have nothing else to discuss o_O Talking about work is ****ing boring, talking about school is boring, talking about drinking socially at a bar is pretty boring. Come on.

For women, is there as much pressure to lose your virginity as there seems to be for guys? Most say no, but they usually say it all depends on your social circles, but I wanted to ask what you guys thought.
It's a delicate balance between not being seen as a prude and not being seen as a slut. 'Least with people I know. /Catholic school

Yeah, but at least you know what your expectation is. We're kinda still on the cusp of it being OK, but also not really. Getting there, though.

EDIT: I think these contradictory expectations (for girls) diminish as you get older, though.

Yeah, see, for guys, if you haven't had sex by the time you are in high school, something is wrong with you. It's all peer pressure and male ego, I guess.

I graduated a virgin. Asshole.

Can't say I've had any hookups. But as far as the viginity thing goes, I was never pressured as a guy to do what my peers were doing. I thought it was silly just having sex with whatever girl was willing. I waited until my current girl, and I don't regret it.

But yeah, I'm not allowed to hookup either...I'm pratically wearing a shackle and chain on my ring finger now, haha.

We could always talk about video games. That's much less dorky than constantly talking about girls.

Talk about video games on a video game forum? No way!!
