Online gaming and you.

Online games are pretty popular for a number of genre's. Fighting, Sports, RPGs are just to name a few. What games/genre's do you like to play online?

I know for myself, I use to play NBA 2K8 online for a while with a friend quite often. Other then that, I haven't really played anything online in real time. I don't mind it because it's nice to play with a friend without them being right there with you, but it's not that important to me. I haven't even updated my account in months anyways.

How about everyone else?

Smash Brothers Brawl is my #1 online game, and possibly game of all time at this moment. I pretty much played everday since I bought it. Even when the cowards here decided to quit playing (Except Zeal, Lodis, Ges, and Contagion). I went over to Smashboards to find some opponents to fill up the friend roster and played them mostly.

I also dabbled in Neverwinter Nights (People here stopped playing), Gunz for quite some time, Gunbound (Again, everyone here faded away), Tactical Ops, Rise of Nations, Ages of Empires 2, Halo 3, COD4, and Phantasy Star Online with a few forum members (Until they stopped playing. This seems to be a trend...).

I don't play games online anymore. I got sick of cheaters. Now I stick yo plying those kinds of games at LAN parties.

I don't know if you consider FB app like "My Heroes Abilities" as online games, but I do and I'm pretty addicted to it daily. Need to level up my character just like a RPG game offline. KZ and Serge is playing it too but I don't think they are levelling up on a daily basis.

I use the My Heroes Ability app, but it's been months since I have. I'm only at like lvl 17 ofr something like that.

I pretty much only play MMORPGs myself. I started out with FFXI, which I played for a couple of years, moved onto Lineage II, then onto WoW, which I have been playing off an on for a couple of years now. I get bored and quit for awhile, but I always seem to start back. I've been playing a bit again this week. It's my husband that always drags me back into it though, lol.

Know that I think about I wish I had someone to play TF2 with as all the people that frequent my LAN parties are cheap asses and won't buy it. :(

There's a bunch of people here that play TF2 here. Blue Eon, Volcynika, Sibek (Biske), and Atlas (I think), among others.

Phak doesn't it depend on the game? I mean the Wii/PS3 games are free to play online from my understanding. That and I also thought there were PC titles that didn't charge money, such as Starcraft, while others do like WOW.

The developers did quite a lot of updates these past months. Maybe you should look into it. I'm level 44, abilities mostly from the Mind branch.

I've been playing World of Warcraft since January. It's the only game I've ever played online.
