Well, probably no one here remembers me. I just thought I would drop by after a long while. I remember when this website was born.

Not really explained in the history, this site began as a Chrono Cross fan based website just when the game was released. Instead of the nice looking boards we have now, we started out in ezboard.com.

It quickly turned into Allrpg.com - since Pepper at the time didn't want to devote himself to just one game but seemed to have bigger plans. From that point, this site has gone on since then. I have come back every now and then to check up on the site. I was a poster back on the ezboard message board and even, at one time, a moderator at this board. Even then, it only lasted about a month before I withdrew knowing I didn't have the time to devote properly to the role. I don't really even remember my message board name back then - I think it was Glenn (associated with Chrono Trigger/Cross of course). Crono, one of the posters at the time, eventually became a big name on these boards from what I remember.

It looks like Peppor might still be here, but I am not entirely sure. Anyway, I just thought I would say hello to all you veterans out there and mention how you guys have done a great job with the community and message board since then.

Thanks for the kind words. To my knowledge, I know of nobody here having contact with Aaron (Pepper) in a very long time. He has not poked his head around at all, and he is not even a current member of the forums. Pepper handed it on over to Kris Wood (Enishi). The server we are using right now is all thanks to Hyde. He is fairly new compared to some of us here, but he has contributed a lot of time helping the site out and grow. I hope you can stick around and maybe post a little bit.

Oh, the site is hiring for staff members, by the way. :)

Oh yeah, I remember you.

FrogGlenn or GlennFrog, I think it was something like that, if I'm thinking of the same person. Either way, welcome back.

Welcome back to the forums. I'm not as old as a CC but I've been around for a while. Hope you have another great stay.

Welcome back! I wasn't around as far back as the Chrono forums, but I've been here for a loooooong time regardless. Things have changed a ton, without a doubt.

I am afraid I don't remember that picture. But its entirely possible that I did go by Frog-Glenn or Glenn-Frog. It sounds very familiar to me. Although if you got that picture from a Frog-Glenn, I don't remember creating it.

A lot of your names sound very familiar to me - especially you, Serge. Were you on the ezboards back then?

Oh and you guys are hiring new staff? Interesting. :)

And yes, I think I'll stick around for a bit!

Serge

Yeah, I was a mod at the ezboard for the last few months of its life. Its been a long time man....you probably haven't been here for 5-6 years.

Jarrid

Longer than that, Serge.

Yeah, we are needing some help since we have recently changed servers. Most of the staff that we had are all gone now, and it would be nice to have a writer for news, previews, reviews, editorials, classic game reviews, or anything else that would help contribute to the site. We are trying to incorporate the forums a lot in the future as well, so look forward to that. :)

The Frog-Glenn I'm thinking of was really into Boba Fett, if I'm remembering correctly. That banner was something I made for him a long time ago. I'm guessing you're someone else, though.

Just did some searching... is this (http://midnafanforum.com/index.php?topic=16336.msg487114) you?

I remember. He was both, at times.

And if you are Frog-Glenn, I certainly remember you. You started the one word Chrono Trigger story thread.

I have you as an AIM and as an MSN contact. I also have you on my deviantart page.

I think I was a different Glenn from what you all remember because I am afraid I don't remember doing those things.

Despite this, I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Pepper hasnt posted or even shown his face in years. I try to make sure he still gets credit on the site as the original designer and creator. Last I heard from him he has a good job designing web sites for some company.

Pretty much I dont even exist to this site anymore.

That's me moogleman! I was surprised to see that my name had been brought up! It's been a LONG time since that upload center. Man, I remember making it too, it was a lot of fun. That is also me at the MidnaFanForum as Fett8802

Frog Glenn and Glenn are two different ppl. I knew Frog glen from Gamer's District/Gameseers and he even posted above me. I don't remember you, but I did read the ezboard created by pepper. Ges and I first met in the IV of the old. He role played with the best(worst) of us. Froggy used to make art from gamer's district and stuff.

also, the IV created the flood of 2001. The flood of old members making role playing boards to to sustain their role playing needs. It sucks I work/wow too much. I miss doing it.

That was certainly an interesting time. I remember trying out Neo Etheral Terra and eventually Althanas when it came into being.

How is Althanas doing now, anyway? Are there a lot of posters or is it mostly a small community like we are now?

What username did you go by in those days on Dire?

I went by moogleman everywhere until (IIRC) 2005 or 2006, when I changed to "jarvolt". Now back to moogleman as of a few months ago.

Yeah, I went by Lord Shaper in those days and used to mod the entertainment sub-forum.

I believe someone named Spike was the head honcho there.

Eh, this thread's a year old but still...
Kadmus/Glenn, don't remember you, though I got my start on the CC forums as well. I miss the good old days. Argy, Leo, ISOS, RyRy(Gravytrain), Abom, 46&2(Kyle), and a bunch of others that don't exist here anymore :(

Holy Hell G. You still around? Can you figure out who I am? :D I gave ya enough hints (Who else would remember Argy, or call him "Argy" for that matter?). Fine, one more. You asked if the 8th was my time of month, then said "What the fuck did I just ask?" Bwahaha. My perfect memory remembers all...

Your knees still acting up? :D

^ Art thou Inari/Lunitari? Do I have those two mixed when they shouldn't be? Ha. I dunno.

On the topic of Dire...was that what Allsquare became? I was on the AllSquare boards for a little bit, and I remember the name Dire Legacy, but I don't think I ever went there. Just remembered some of you guys talking about it.

Who besides SW, Moogleman, and Frog-Glenn remembers ye olde Gamer's District? I think that place lasted like 2 months or something.

No, completely different places.

I was on the AllSquare boards for a little bit, and I remember the name Dire Legacy, but I don't think I ever went there. Just remembered some of you guys talking about it.

The place was a garbage of a forum, but had some of the most interesting characters on it. I'd hazard to say it was my favorite forum in all of my forum experience.

....I miss Gravy :(

It's a shame EZ Board's were cleared out, I spent countless hours trying to rediscover the Looney Bin back in the day, but to no avail. The whole system changed alot since I was in grade 7 lol.
