Comes out tomorrow (September 2).
Anyone excited about this title? After watching the latest trailer released by SE, I was really impressed.

It looked good but has one of the most retarded names ever.

Yeah, I actually was just outside smoking a cigarette, and I had a bad feeling I named the thread 'Infinite Discovery'. I ran back inside and signed on to the internet to make sure I had it right. :p
Damn title.

Picking it up Wednesday, since I'm still chipping away at ToV. Looks fun, though I heard it is 20-30 hours, but it's tri-Ace, they'll have a ton of extra stuff to do after the main game most likely.

I really want to get this game, as far as I can tell it looks like a good game. I've been planning on getting it, I can't say that there is anything that looks bad about the game. But at the same time, I haven't heard a lick of press about it. The only thing that even could be considered press is a little snippet of a quote that a member posted in allrpg chat. Lets just say that the little information that I did get, is that it sounded as if Tri-Ace and SquareEnix just slapped everything together, creating a sup-par RPG.
Remember though, its hearsay at this point.

The automated Gamestop lady just called my house and told me to go get IU this afternoon. That ***** can be a little more polite and tell me to get it whenever I want!

Anyone play it yet? I'm undecided on it and not sure whether to pick this up or The Force Unleashed

I got it at release, but will be starting it today. I'll give my input sometime tomorrow.

I watched a review that said that it has a good battle system, but the story is quite lame and not very compelling. I was going to get it the other day, but hesitated and bought EA Skate instead because it was on sale. As important as the battle system is, I'm always more drawn in by a good story. I'll be waiting until it's cheaper or something if I ever get around to buying it at this point in time. And, yea... the name is a real turn off as well.

Despite the funny title, this games looks awfully fun. Me wants.

It feels like FFXII due to no random encounters, and SO/Radiata for battles. I'm 14 hours in and have broken 6 chains so far. Heard if you do normal difficulty or higher you get to go to Seraphic Gate once you beat the game.

i would reccomend avoiding it if you looking for a good story....two discs due to the fact there are alot of vcut secene and such. but if your down for hardcore grindage. it should be right up your ally. i bought and im pretty good ways in it,but extremely bored with it just finishing it to finish it.

Took me 18 hours to beat the main story. Next up...Seraphic Gate!
I finished this game today. It's nothing ground-breaking, but I enjoyed it. The characters are great, the story was not nearly all that bad, like so many are claiming. The battle system is incredibly fun, too. My only gripe is that you will get lost moving from one area to the next, unless you're using a guide.

What was your final game time? Was a lot of that grinding?
My final game time was 20 hours. (:()
There's another area that's opened up to me now that I've completed it, but I haven't gone there yet.

Sounds like it should have been left undiscovered.
