Microsoft?s John Schappert announced that the game would be released in Japan on February 19, 2009, with a released in North America on March 3, 2009.

That's pretty much it for me, providing this news is infact true, I now have no reason to buy a 360.

Nice to hear the street date is so soon. I'll probably have a PS3 by that point but I'll likely get the 360 version, mostly because I'd like to stick with making the 360 my RPG machine.

Most games at TGS had one booth. Maybe two. Some more high-profile titles had 3-4 booths, some AAA titles like LittleBigPlanet had 10-12. Star Ocean 4, on the other hand, had around 25-30 machines running at the Microsoft stand, giving you a fair indication of how important this game is to the company, who are hoping it can be their next big thing after Tales of Vesperia.

Well even if it's only one link, I'm about positive that SO4 ends up on the PS3 at some point. If Square is going to make FF13 (is that the right number?) multi-plat, I would imagine they start doing it for all the big releases.
