I know I'm living in the past here, but did anyone else play this awesome RPG for the PSX?

Truth be told, it was my first RPG. Truth be told, I don't expect this thread to get too many replies.

Heh, I got this game the first day it came out. Played it, loved it, and did another run through on my psp. And Truth be Told, it beat out any other rpg that came out >=p.

Played it, actually quite enjoyed it, mainly for its battlesystem that incorporated nice beat-em-up aspects and its soundtrack. You should check out its sequel; Legend of Legaia 2 for the ps2, pretty much improved every aspect of the first.

I bought it around the time of its release. I really enjoyed it but I never got around to finishing it. Until about two years ago when I decided that it was finally time to go back and finish it. Even though the game was extremely dated it still had a blast with it. I was always fond of the battle system.

I played the shit out of this game. I remember it being kind of hard, but that was a long time ago.

Yeah, the battle system was pretty innovative.

And it was pretty damned difficult, to say the least. It was long as hell, to boot. Great RPG.

I played this at my cousin's for 2 days straight many years ago and loved it. Never saw it again after that...:(

I've only managed to play LoL 2 for the PS2, which was a surprisingly good game. The battle system was really interesting and fun, trying to work out combinations made the game a little fresher then other rpgs. Too bad more games have never surfaced.

I just ordered Duel Saga because I never got my hands dirty with this one. I heard it was a decent games with some returning tracks from Legend of Legaia.

I played a quite a few years ago but never beat it. Never will now that my PS1 memory card got corrupted. I refuse to start all that powerleveling all over again.

I borrowed it from a friend around it's time of release. I probably didn't give it much of a chance, but I didn't like it too much. I thought the battle system and story were boring. I never finished it.

I was playing the original PSX version of this game just a couple of weeks ago. The bosses are murder! But then, it seemed like I was able to handle it better than when it first came out. That was a really long time ago though...

I think this was the 3rd RPG I ever played. (1st being Breath of Fire III, 2nd being Final Fantasy VII). I had rented it and played it until I beat it. I finally bought it last year on ebay for cheap. I've yet to play it again, though.

I never played the sequel.

I think one of it's best features is when you equip a piece of armor or a weapon, it shows the character with it in battle mode. The longer you played the more stuff they got and they always looked cooler. There are a lot of way better games out there that lack this feature.

Same here dude. A little boring, and I suppose I just ended up putting it aside at some point in favor of something like Final Fantasy.

I really liked the first one for some reason. I don't remember much except there was an evil mist that brought monsters and badass battle system.

I miss the days of PSOne when random RPGs came out like clockwork...
