Would you recommend the last movie you saw in the theater?

Since this year, particularly this summer, seems to be THE YEAR for great blockbuster hits, I thought it'd be interesting to find out if you would recommend the last movie you saw in the theater to other posters on the forums.

The last movie I saw was Iron Man. I took my 6 year old nephew to see it. Before he had expressed an interest in going to see it, I wasn't very interested in going to see it. My brother, his fiancee, my parents, heck-- even King Zeal, were all telling me I should go see this movie. It was "epic," or something to that regard. But I still didn't believe anyone because I'm a penny pincher these days and didn't think it'd be worth the $10.50 a piece ticket price (it was only 50 cents cheaper for my nephew to get in!). So I took my nephew. I was actually very pleasantly surprised! I thought it was probably one of the best comic book movies to date. It seemed like it took a little while to get the story started, but once it got started it was non-stop awesome.

I would -highly- recommend Iron Man to other posters.

What was the last movie you saw in the theater? Would you recommend it to other posters? Why or why not?

Indiana Jones 4
Hell yes. It is a damn fun movie, even if the CG effects are a bit too much.

Needed less CG and more stuff like the previous 3 films, but it was a pretty damn fun movie, anyway.

If you want a silly and kickass action movie, you can't go wrong with Indy. Recommended.

That would be Hairspray, last July, and yes, I would recommend it. It's a lot of fun.

The last movie I was in the theater was The Incredible Hulk. I certainly enjoyed it enough to recommend it. I thought it was a very solid version of the franchise and that, unlike the other movie, recognized that it was a genre flick. Plus it had lots of Hulk smashing stuff.

Seriously? You haven't been to the theatre since Terminator 3?! Holy hell, Blue. You've missed out on a lot of good movies. Go on a date, you hermit!

Also, I just saw The Happening last night and I totally recommend it. It was some pretty ****ed up stuff.

I really want to see The Happenening. I actually wanted to see it the other night, but the theater we went to wasn't showing it. We had to settle for The Strangers. It was real crap, too.

Iron Man was my last, as well. I'd recommend it. Even to people like me who never picked up the comic book. Its pretty predictable but has good action.

That is really lame, FE. Get with it. Blue seeing T3 last is more worthy than that.

My last movie at the theater was Iron Man and I would recommend the shit out of it to anyone including my 80+ year old great grandmother.

That movie is the tits. It starts with AC/DC's Back in Black while Tony Stark is drinking in a Humvee wearing a badass suit and tie and it just 126 minutes of awesome. Downey Jr. is great as Tony Stark, the effects are complete badass and everything is just the total tits.

I was never an Iron Man fan but this movie made me a complete nut about the character.

I might watch The Incredible Hulk today and that M. Knight Shaymalan crap, it looks ok but it will surely fail.

The intro was pretty much the sweetest thing ever, I have to admit.
